Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of August 15, 2022 to August 21, 2022.
Nintendo Switch Sports was the highest selling software of the week, moving an additional 18,668 retail copies. The only new title to chart in the top 10 was the download card for Kirby’s Dream Buffet, which sold 7,218 units.
On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 58,396 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 15,655 units, the Xbox Series family sold 9,820 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 13 units. Next-generation consoles continue to face stock issues.
