Much stronger debut for Game Builder Garage than expected, depending on the type of games that get created and future updates this is potentially a game that can surpass half a million in terms of physical sales. Remains to be seen what creators can create.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Integrade is slightly above what I expected, while R&C exactly where I thought it would debut. Overall the software situation for the PS5 continues to be pretty dire with a very low attach rate.

Elsewhere XBS saw a huge increase of 327% Week over Week, this is actually the biggest week for Microsoft since the launch of the new systems. Launch aligned they've almost caught up to the XB1 but still it's a very niche device in Japan.

Three weeks left until we've gone through the first half of the year; doesn't seem like Scarlet Nexus will manage to enter the Top 30, so we are left with just two PS4 games charting there for the first half of the year. Mario Golf will wrap it up for Nintendo for the first half of the year and we are likely to see a result slightly below what Switch software achieved in 2020 thanks for New Horizon.
Overall software will be down because it seems PS4 market share will decline by over 2 million units YoY within the Top 30.

Momotaro in it's second calendar year has outperform all Nintendo evergreens thus far. Just for comparison it will end up with over 350K more sales than Sword/Shield did last year.

guilty gear ps4 to ps5 was 3 to 1, 20k for an enhanced release of a million-seller also seems really weak, ratchet and clank also debuted at half the ps4 game (granted the ps4 had about 5x as many units sold at the time)
ps5 software is still far too low for the hardware sales, so either the ps5 is an anomaly and being bought for something besides games, is a major shift in Japanese buying habits, or is still being scalped to China (which has launched there, but if the supply is as limited as it is everywhere else scalping from Japan would still make sense)
