Nintendo diminished their forecast a couple of months ago citing shortages among other things. Was last week a manifestation of that? Can't explain them going from 35K to 90K from one week to the next with no major release.

The Pokemon Scarlet/Violet Oled model released this week, sales should rise next week then the week after they should be really big with the game releasing.

This is why I mentioned in another thread, when it comes to marketing - it's not an opinionated topic. Having the numbers are really what matters. Speaks louder than journalism, hot takes or whichever video reviewer may be propagating otherwise. That's all I look at. People don't invest in shares based on opinions -- it's this. Solid it what I'll say and thanks for sharing OP.

Cores, shaders and BIOS oh my!
but i thought some youtuber told me PS5 is finally killing the Switche. Where are they now?
Switch is also affected by chip shortages even though all related articles only stress it as damage control for the "next gen consoles". It wasn't that long ago we saw it sell way worse (which actually increased the Switch Lite sales quite considerably some weeks as some people at least caved for lack of alternative versions) and only get bumps when they had saved stock for specific game launches or similar, then they managed to maintain enough supply to make it look like it sells without issue for a time but it was still almost running dry every other week. Diverting chips to the Pokemon OLED model is probably exactly why there were less systems to sell last week, they're most likely doing more of that and gearing up for new year bundles and such so supply will suffer. New model launch (2 days tracked here mind) = a bit more stock for now = sales back to the usual levels again.

Decent legs for Bayonetta and very good legs for Persona 5 Royale. I'm a bit dissappointed by Harvestella, even though its a new IP. I guess we'll have to see how it does over the holiday season. I think the Japanese market needs more breakout new IP, but this year the only one has been Elden Ring.

Nah just loads on here all crowing saying nintendos time is over, wonder where they all are now?

Most of them had no idea Nintendo Switch was having stock problems and Nintendo' trying their best to supply enough Switch for the inevitable monstrous game known as Pokémon.

Why would Switch sales collapsed right before Pokémon releases lol.

Bunch of clueless posters in that thread.
