Fargo - Season 2 - a new true crime chapter takes us to 1979 Sioux Falls - Mon on FX

The urgency in which Lou and Ed were running was pretty high so i don't think it would have been affected by hearing the shot. You tend to go full speed in situations like that behaving according the worst scenario - that someone is trying to catch up on you. I would have said that Hansee should had radioed-over to Bear or some other guy, but knowing the writing style of the show i skipped the most direct and simple method because Fargo detests that and people will come up with thousand reasons why Hansee and others don't have communication equipment on them.
Plus, the negatives of letting Lou know don't outweigh having 2 more guys helping and flanking and maybe even taking one of the cars.

The best way for Hansee to protect Dodd and himself is to get everybody on the same page and un-distracted with other matters. Charlie remaining out in the wild reduces the Gerhardat's chances to beat KC, and who knows, Charlie might fall to the hands of Mike. When they'll return to their HQ they will learn the price of having more than KC go worry about.
It's pretty obvious Hansee is a lone wolf. He's been presented that way consistently.

It leaked? What an odd thing to happen during the middle of a season.

No way will I allow myself to be tempted. Monday nights are now so much less boring with Fargo to look forward to

It seems such a weird way to watch the show, to bring in a preconcieved notion of how any character (regardless the characterization as presented in the show) should optimally act, assuming clear, rational decisionmaking prowess is the default.

Almost every single one of Saty's problems with this show is rooted in that, it seems.

It's weird as hell.

I see this in a lot of TV threads. It is rather silly. It's ok to criticize a genuinely stupid character action if it just doesn't make any sense. I'm still on the fence with Simone's actions and whether it is reasonable for her to betray her whole family but they seem to be doing something with that so I'll wait before judging.

New episode tonight:
Did You Do This? No, You Did It!

Lou and Hank investigate in Fargo; The King of Breakfast visits Betsy and Molly; Floyd is summoned away; Bear questions a family member's loyalty.
This episode is scheduled for a 90 minute runtime tonight. Tonight is episode #7 of 10 for S2.

How many minutes have previous eps been? 75?
The time slots have been between about 60-90 min so far, iirc. The runtimes (not including commercials) have been 52, 61, 50, 56, 57, and 49 min for the S2 episodes that already aired. For comparison, an average network show in a 1hr time slot runs about 42-44 min per episode.

Meanwhile Homeland struggles to hit 50 minutes (minus about 4 for entire series recap and overly long intro) per episode on Showtime

Boo-ya! Good to hear.
“Year two of ‘Fargo’ is an extraordinary achievement and, given Noah Hawley’s masterful storytelling, we can’t wait to see where the third, all-new version of ‘Fargo’ takes us,” Eric Schrier said, who announced the renewal with Nick Grad, fellow president oforiginal programming for FX Networks and FX Productions. “Our thanks to Noah, Warren, Joel and Ethan, John and our partners at MGM Television for making ‘Fargo’ such a memorable and rewarding journey.”

Oh, wow. Thanka for the info! So this is a 90 min runtime and not time slot?!

I think it would be great to have the next season set in the later 1800s during the transition from territory to statehood.

A western would be a hard sell for some people I know.
