Just thought of this..

Malvo says 'see you later' and 'I'm coming soon'. Or something like that. He also had the wings of blood behind him.

Maybe Malvo will see him later and death will come soon for him.

I think Lester will die.

Otherwise those two lines just sound really weird and don't make much sense.

If I was making this show I'd have Malvo kill him on the beach in then dump his body in the sea. Then have final shot of the show be Lester's body sinking in his orange coat with a school of fish going past him in the other direction, just like his poster. No way Malvo gets caught but he might have moment of the universe going after him like chigurh's car crash.

That elevator scene where BB just broke character and Malvo emerged was great (also Dat girlfriend...).

Lester sending Linda into the shop was both genius and wrong as hell.

I actually think that Malvo may have met his match in terms of Lester, who despite his fear and panic has demonstrated on several occasions that he's fast at thinking on his feet.

Lester kills Molly and then starts a killing spree murdering everyone in town except for Chief Saul Goodman who is like naaaah couldn't have been Lester and so he gets away with it

Saul is actually giving Malvo orders.
He gets everyone killed and covers it up.
Uses everybody's cash to move to New Mexico and buy a space in a strip mall to pursue his dream of being a criminal lawyer.

If Malvo just wanted to kill Lester why didn't he do so in the hotel anyway? So then why kill him (well his wife) later?

Maybe he just wanted to drag it out and mentally torture him a little bit. A quick death doesn't teach Lester a lesson about fucking with him.

Malvo probably never (or rarely) gets the chance to chase someone who knows he's coming after them, so he was probably interested in exploring the avenue.

He had three bodies to deal with and Lester had a head start. Chasing him through a Las Vegas Casino and firing bullets over his head like Yosemite Sam probably wasn't the smartest move.

There will be another time jump in the last episode. Lester will win the lottery and will buy an expensive apartment in New York. It'll be really high up in the building.

Solverson will be tasked with going to ask him some questions again. It will just happen to be on the day that Lester is having a solid gold piano brought up to his apartment via a crane. As Molly is standing on the street level, the crane will drop the piano on her head.

I can't tell if I even care or not. It's like True Detective. I loved that season so much but the combination of actors and writing are what did it for me. I don't know if I'll care about a whole new cast and story.

Do I really need a new season of Fargo? Without Martin Freeman and without the way they used the movie's style being fresh anymore, I just don't know if it'll have as much of an impact for me.

Too early to tell. Before seeing how this season turned out, I wouldn't have said I needed this one either.

I finally got caught up tonight. Show has been fantastic. I'm curious...I talked to people at work about the show this morning and they're actually rooting for Lester...are you guys doing the same? I think he's every bit as bad of a person as Malvo and deserves to die.

I'm totally rooting for him. I hope he wins in the end and everyone else dies.

I was in this boat until he screwed over his own brother and then it all went downhill from there. I will say Martin Freeman's acting has been spectacular especially after the time jump

expected a lot from thornton and freeman but officer solverson is stealing the show
