Favorite ending to a TV series?

Off the top of my head, Seinfeld because Larry David had the balls to rightfully make the crew out to be the misanthropic assholes they always were and punish them for it. It was the exact opposite of a traditionally happy ending.

I never watched the show but my wife said she loved the 6 feet under finale.
Put me in the camp of liking the Sopranos ending
Breaking Bad ended well, too. I'm picky though; I think a lot of writers have no idea how to end a show. After Lost I became extremely jaded.

Sopranos. Battlestar Galactica (fuck you, I liked it), Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Death Note, Star Trek: TNG, Mad Men.

When I think of an ending, I think of not just the final scene, but how it's all wrapped up.

I am torn on the Sopranos. I like the very final scene. I like what happened to Phil. I wanted to see more for the rest of the cast.

Seinfeld was great. People were dogging on it, but it tied it up perfectly. As much as I hate "recap episodes" of anything, it helped remind you of all of the great times you had with this show. And then you end with the very same joke it started with. Just brilliant.

Breaking Bad was damn satisfying. No holds were barred.

The Wonder Years is probably one of the most underrated shows I know. Few shows have such replayability, especially something with that much age to it. Each watch brings you back in time. The ending somehow adds even more power to an already powerful show. Life moves past you in a blip. Things change. What you thought would happen, doesn't always go that way. Much better than a cliche ending.

Dexter was one of the biggest messes. I remember watching season 4 and thinking how amazing it was. How it ended, I couldn't even recognize it anymore

I may also be in the minority here, but I really enjoyed Nip/tuck for a while. The beginning showed great promise. Then it turned into one of the biggest clusters I have ever seen.
