Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
So, everything ahead of Bravely sold better than around 200,000 units?

...Isn't that a bit...strange?

I'm curious why it matters so much to PS4 owners to see weaker X1 sales numbers? Do you need extra justification for your console purchase or something?

You should understand that competition, mainly healthy competition, benefits all of us. We don't benefit from Sony or MSFT becoming the sole mainstream console provider.

Healthy competition doesn't mean shooting yourself in the head with a confusing, undesirable product and/ or mixed messaging and then expecting people to buy it out of a deranged obligation to support companies or an industry that are not adequately competing. Either Nintendo or MS fits the afformentioned and consumers are reacting appropriately: with disdain.

Edit: Numbers are surprising.

Cause they keep buying games instead of making them and it pisses people off.

Everyone, take a shot whenever Titanfall gets mentioned.

You want a real drinking game? In the 3 days leading up to Titanfall s release, take a drink every time Major Nelson mentioned #Titanfall on his Twitter account. Honestly, you won't make it past the 1st day. I bet he had over 25 Titanfall tweets..in that span alone...

Except the sales are a direct result of "competition." What you're asking for is sales parity, which is anti-competitive.

"Bravely Default and Donkey Kong were the No. 2 and No. 4 best-selling games of the month."

Means Minecraft was the top-selling single SKU of the month with BD #2. BD > any individual SKU of Lightning Returns, but BD < combined LR numbers. *shrugs*

Microsoft's reaction:

You should be mad at the game studios and publishers for making these deals too, there are two sides to each coin. Microsoft is well within their rights to pay for exclusivity.

Owning game studios is not always a profitable endeavor, go look at Sony Santa Monica (their crown jewel) that just went through pretty sizable layoffs.

Sweet justice.

EDIT: In light of recent news, LR < 200K < BD

It was an unusual February bump. Pretty much across the board.
Yep, triple digit percentage increase for the 360! Curious.
Wondering if there was quite a bit of weather effect dampening January, or depressed January sales due to new hardware spend-up Nov/Dec and consumers waking up from that malaise, or better than usual taxmas effect. Or, perhaps just a combination of it all. EDIT: Oh, and of course Titanfall effect as well.

It's good to see everything up.

Woe is my prediction record though...
