Nevermind, got confused, thought that was the game's subtitle initials for a second.

Um,I already bought it,it's actually more realistic than ESPN NFL 2K5 :lol

Yeah... that wall-running feature is realistic. Just ask Sammy Sosa:

"It's so reeeeeeeeeeal!"

Mark Turmell could design a better game on a VIC-20.

:lol

Holy shit,I was just joking about being more realistic.

And Astro, have you played it?It's fun,I'm sorry that your EA hate won't let you play it,grow up people.

Are you guys still going on about some non-Castlevania game? I mean, we're at the helm of the greatest adventure of a lifetime. A sneek peak of what could be the second coming, and we're still discussing about NFL Street? I'm going to light some candles and chant Igarashi's name while spilling the blood of a white virgin horse.

It's not EA hate that prevents me from wanting to even bother with NFL Street 2... it's my genuine dislike of the first game and how I feel that Tiburon should have stuck to simulations. Hell... even 989's God-awful NFL Xtreme was more fun to play than Street was.

There's nothing wrong with your liking Street 2, if that's your preference. I just happen to think that earlier versions of Blitz (particularly Blitz 2000) are far batter than any other arcade-style football game I've tried.

Probably because KoTOR2 is an inferior retread of the first, failing to improve upon just about every facet -- save for combat -- of the original, while coming up short in several respects. I couldn't bring myself to finish the game, to be honest.

The scores for KoTOR2 and Mech Assault are comical.

If I recall correctly, EGM didn't care for the first Getaway -- and that game was amazing. Whatever.

You have crap taste. And apparently an Xbox molested your dog sometime in the past.

No Medusa Heads? BOO.

I don't give a shit about EA, you're the one who's obsessed with VC, saying "Um,I already bought it,it's actually more realistic than ESPN NFL 2K5" when no one even mentioned the game and it's not in the magazine either. Get over it already.

I will hold vigil as well. Nothing released since C:SOTN, with the possible exception of Soul Calibur, has topped it.

Well you've yet to tell us where we can see the screens. Unless you just have the magazine.

Hey, I can post them here. And they were sent to me by a member of this forum. But I can say they should surely be circulating around by now. One of you guys must post these badboys. Check PM Mama Smurf.

I have an opinion. I have nothing against the Xbox, but given what's been related about MA2's single player game, there's zero rationale in awarding it an 8.0. Any game with a forgettable singleplayer experience isn't deserving of high scores. For the most part, the Xbox is a joke of a system -- but I do give it a chance. I don't reflexively pan every game that comes to it. I've uncovered a few gems from the deluge of crap that's shaped its library.

Dear Lord, someone send me (PM-PM-PM) over those CASTLEVANIA DS scans. For the love of God, the commentary on it is making my heart stop

And heyo:

Is it any surprise EGM gave a Zelda game GOTM?

Would it really be a surprise if any Zelda game got GOTM/GOTY in any magazine? Zelda almost always owns.

Society said:
No. What is more surprising is that Capcom made a good game.

Capcom makes some good games. Sometimes. Viewtiful Joe is one of my favorite games this generation. Megaman Anniversary Collection (PS2 version, anyway) is awesome, even if they did screw up one of the endings. Devil May Cry 1 owns. Onimusha 3: Warlords ain't bad. And I bet Okami or whatever it's called will be jawsome.

PM! Castlevania DS is probably the main reason I bought the DS (yes I know it's retarded to buy it before actually seeing the game).

Agreed... all this CV talk is making my head spin. If it's as yummy as people are saying, CVDS could be the game to sell me on NDS hardware.

"The team also plans to make full use of the system's vastly superior-to-GBA music capabilities. Noted series composer Michiru Yamane will supervise the music production and pen a few key tracks herself."

Also, looks like most of the main characters from Aria are returing. More weapons, more souls and more enemies on screen. Soma can summon an army of Archers to do his bidding.

Also of note, "Igarashi promises to utilize the DS' wireless functionality for Enemy Soul trading and the exchange of customized maps. They also mentioned he's shooting for a versus mode.

Thanks Screaming_Gremlin

Oh. My. GOD.
Could this be...the best CV game ever? :o

Custom maps indicate that we're getting a CV set in a claustrophobic castle yet AGAIN. Could it be that hard to toss in some outdoor areas a la CV2?

There's an area taking place outside, in the SNOW! Wood cabins and everything.

It won't be on stands in my area for another week atleast. If the mods want to do something about it let them do their job, it is none of your concern.

:lol It is my concern, as I don't take kindly to infringements on copyright laws. PM for copyrighted material is no different than posting it on this forum. Buy the magazine.

So I take it that you don't approve of Famitsu scans either?

Either way, stop posting requests for it on the forum. It's a violation of the forum's rules and it's just plain wrong.

Yeah, see, I have a subscription to EGM. It's just that this issue isn't here yet. There was NO WAY I was waiting for these images.

Oh btw, it is gorgeous. It's definitely Aria of Sorrow pumped on SOTN-esque steroids.

Nah, Famitsu is mostly PS2 scans. That is ok.

The only possible thing that I could complain about is the DS screen's resolution... This is obviously a contender for GOTY 2005.
