Apparently Wade Keller tweeted three hours ago that Batista injured his left arm.

I've always looked at Cena's gimmick as the one guy in everyone's friend group that never grew up, comes to your town, and wants to party like back in the day when you have a career and a family to take care of

Even the biggest Batista fan in Wrasslegaf (Sunny McFlower) can't defend Bootista. Dude looks terrible, didn't deserve to come in after 4 years and go straight to the WM main event, and is no where near the draw of Rock. Even his biggest supports will readily admit that. I don't think he has any fans left online. Or at live shows. Nobody wants him. He truly walks alone.

I don't think Batista has fans. I was on a WWE break (thanks Cena) during his prime, so I really don't know much about it. I just know that I don't care for him. Vince cares about money. He just wants Batista to get some national attention to put more butts in seats. The problem is that Batista is not really that big of an actor, so no one really cared. I think Hogan coming back was a bigger deal than Batista.

It's literally the movie. He left the company because he was unhappy but had the option of returning, and got a major role in one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. The company wanted him back, and he used the leverage he had to get an instant mega push, a certain title reign, 2 years, and $4 million.
Also yes HHH has that much sway. Batista isn't an example, but the Outlaws are. They have a multi-month title reign and guaranteed Mania title match in the year 2014. If that's not proof he has that much sway, I don't know what is.
No. But what he does have is 4 more years in the company, after which he'll retire. 4 more potential Show Mania matches. Yay?
