they should do a dual release on the DS and the GBA, they'd make more money off of the DS version anyway as the carts are cheaper to mass produce. All they'd have to do is put a status screen down the bottom or something and i'd be happy.hahahax said:But the GBA can't handle the sound quality of VI.
Why cheer for what will most likely be an inferior version :/
I hate them all.
i think square will be supporting rev more than gc, but i can't see the main ff games moving from sony. dragon's quest could be a maybe, yuji hori was praising the revolution via video in iwata's tgs speech:ki/oon said:OK, do you think this means SE will be fully onboard with Rev ?
I mean already 5 games or so for the DS, FF4, 5 and 6 for GBA, SE developping that Mario Basket game, and not a single game coming for PSP ?? I would be worried if I was Sony...
i would still be surprised if dragon's quest goes to rev, i think the main series will be on ps3.yuji hori said:at first introduction to the controller i was surprised. there should have been a controller like this before but surprisingly there was not. i believe people will not hesitate to use this controller. just like a remote control for your tv, people will touch it and without thought will understand how to use it.
starting with ds i believe nintendo has made game machines that offer the feeling of touch. the revolution controller has evolved this feeling of touch even further.
' FF III ' 2006 year sale, ' V ' * ' as much as VI ' advance transplantation clearly
October 5th of 2005 (water) o'clock of 18 22 minute

At the TFT hole of at this Nitto capital daybreak it was held " the Nintendo DS Conference! 2005. Fall " being similar, after President Yoichi Wada of the スクウェア * エニックス being announced, follow-up story it was not, administering the complete Lee make-up ' ファイナルファンタジー cIii ' concerning, it made that it sells in 2006 clear.
The Tanaka Hiro road person who takes charge of development does, being to have planned, with the DS III ' it probably will transplant many degrees " so far ' concerning the Lee make-up, but the life of of hard of transplantation schedule did not run out, the staff did not get together with company internal circumstance and/or with, it was not possible to actualize so far. You thought " the work where and as many as 15 years pass from sale, not being limited to simply transplantation, are met the expectation of the user probably will be made you have commented.
The image which is screened at the meeting place seems that the Lee make-up is done substantially e.g., the キャラ and field are converted the to 3d,, but as for Tanaka as for image however it changed, in order not to destroy the image of the origin, appointing Koichi Kazuhiko Aoki and Ishii and others to development, when it has produced, you have commented.
In addition, the スクウェア * エニックス ' the マリオバスケット 3on3 ' doing development in for the ニンテンドー DS, becomes the sale from Nintendo Co., so is. Wada while researching the game which has the touch impression only of the DS, whether the basket game it is not possible with world view of the マリオ, when, from side of the スクエニ approached to Nintendo Co., so is.
Lastly some days ago ' ファイナルファンタジー cIv advance ' it made clear that in the head it keeps being transplanted in the portable game machine, but ' it seems that appears to V ' and ' VI ' GBA. This way is the pleasure.

thanks for the translation!Cormacaroni said:OK, for those poor people forced to read the babelfished version of the Nintendo Inside article, here's a quick and dirty translation of the main points pertaining to III as i see 'em:
Square-Enix's Youchi Wada announced that a 100% remake of Final Fantasy III would be launched in 2006 for the DS. The remake is being handled by Hiromichi Tanaka, who said that there had been many plans to port III in the past, but they fell apart because the h/w in question didn't live long enough, because they couldn't get the right staff etc. So since its now been 15 years since the original, he thought they should try to do more than just a port of the original.
Although the characters in the footage shown were in full 3D, Tanaka says that they are attempting to maintain the original feel despite the visual overhaul. Among those working on the title are Kazuhiko Aoki and Kouichi Ishii.

Heck, I said before that I want a 2D version of FF7. But after seeing this 3D quality on the DS, I won't mind Square-Enix porting FF7 in 3D to DS at all!
