Probably from the latest Game Informer but I got them fromt GameFront.

- You can see the muscles move, real-time shadows on bodies.
- Dust particles can be seen in lit areas
- all clothes are made from photos and texture scans.
- Real-life stadiums (like Madison Square Garden) recreated in detail.
- No HUD, the boxer's face and body show his condition.
- EA has worked with ESPN and each fight begins with a video that tells the story ofthe two boxers. The game will record the best parts of a fight and show them in a later video.
- Commentators describe the boxers relationship with each other and somtimes appear in small windows'
- Future opponents sometimes appear during a fight and start insulting and distracting you.
- each boxer has an individual combat style. Each boxer bleed differently or react differently to bruises.
- Release: Winter 2006 PSP & Xbox 360

Screens if you still haven't seen them, they are posted in another thread as well:

Are people Pm'ing the links to these scans or something. These threads need pics!

Edit, thx uneek, looking good. I don't doubt the screens either because Fight Night has been looking great for the last 2 years.

P.S. If you get rid of the ragdoll KO's I will burn you down EA. BURN YOU DOWN.

Most likely u_neek meant PS3, not PSP....

- Release: Anfang 2006 (Xbox 360, USA) / TBA (PlayStation3, USA)

There is no mention of a PS3 release date, but there is also no mention of PSP at all..

Looks very nice! The level of detail is just amazing...i hope the next gen stuff won't effect the gameplay, which is pretty solid enough...rag doll knock out are awesome...tonning them down a bit wouldn't hurt...

DCX

looks good... but im looking foward to the new def jam 3 more.

hopefully this time around online play will be included

The PSP version is talked about in a small half page blurb in the next gen fight night/def jam article, with a couple pics shown. It is set for release the same time as the Xbox 360 version.

Cool love to hear that. Hopefully EA will be smart enough to add PS3 -> PSP connectivity.

Yeah, the PSP version of Fight Night is based off of Round 3. I want to know how the game will control on PSP, though. Don't you use the second analog stick to punch in Fight Night?

Also, Def Jam PSP is based off of Fight for New York which I believe is the second Def Jam game? IT isn't based off the current next gen Def Jam.

EA might just go back to the knockout kings control scheme, as i see no other way.

What is this, the WWE? Does this mean that during a fight an opponent will run out and hit me with a chair? :lol

Probably, boxing is even more rigged than pro wrestling.

More info from GameFront (babelfished):

- hopes the developer team that again many considerable boxer are also thereby after boxer are missing such as Tyson and OSCAR.

- in the fight the face expression of the boxers changes: It looks exhausted, if it had to in-take some hits or aggressively, if it out-divides.

- it concerns in the fight rather to understand its opposite on the basis its behavior and appearance and not stare at life energy bars.

- the developers want to concentrate on the rivalries between the boxern and to place these conflicts into the Mittelpunk of the play concept. Particularly in the career mode the rivalry comes to the expression, where it provides for Dramatik.

- the training possibilities of the boxers are extended.

- by the analysis of an opponent before the fight, one can prepare in training particularly for him. If a contractor strong rights has and with upward hooks attacked, one co-ordinates its training with this combat sample. In the duel one has then improved status values and an advantage in relation to the enemy.

- with a hit one sees the meat at the body of the opponent wackeln, e.g. at the belly, chin or at the cheek. Likewise the ribs step out with hits and movements.

Tyson sure could use the money... anyway what's the news on the Def Jam PSP and Def Jam 3?

I hope that's just poor translation or something and not how these people write. Every sentence is strange, but this one nearly broke my mind:

"- hopes the developer team that again many considerable boxer are also thereby after boxer are missing such as Tyson and OSCAR. "

since EA looks to be doing great things next gen, is it ok to stop the boycott? :)

Holy crap @ Def Jam! EA Chicago is doing some nice things next gen.

I'm disappointed to see the AKI wrestling mechanic slid more and more away from Def Jam... well I did like FFNY, but I really like the core AKI wrestling game engine too... come on AKI... you can do both! Give us the fighting game you're workin on in the DJ series while creating another standalone wrestling title! For you folks saying you can't find scans ivy told you in his post where they are.

Scans are at the OAther forum. Game looks good, but DOA4 would clown that if it had some goddamn lighting. That's all I see in those Def Jam shots, good lighting. Fight Night looks much better in comparison. Really good compared to the E3 build as a matter of fact. Gives me great hope for the final product if the gameplay is any good. I've liked the series in the past. It also gives me great hope for Tekken, b/c I don't believe for a second that EA will have the best-looking games at launch...if ever. PEACE.

man, what a piece of shit site... i love how they justify racism over there

Ehh you mean scans are over at that OAsite?
I have to register and I don't think I want seeing its reputation here.

does anybody know where i can find def jam-scans? :)
Read the thread.

Registering isn't a big deal. Use a throwaway email or something. But if you want to get scans in a timely manner, it's usually the place to go...IMO. PEACE.

Oh yea, the scans of Def Jam are nice, but Fight Night looks stupidly good.

where can i register?? sorry, but i don't know this "OAther forum" and google didn't help (yeah, i know it sounds stupid but have mercy - i'm a german guy and my english isn't the best :) )

could somebody please tell me the URL of that forum?
