Fighting Game Headquarters |4| Cheers Love, the Anime's Here!

I was thinking about the PS4's legacy controller support the other day, and I have a weird question regarding it and tournament matches.

Has anybody ever used both a pad and a stick during a tournament? Specifically for one game, I mean. Since most legacy support on PS4 fighting games allows the use of both the PS4 pad and the legacy stick on the respective player's side, I'm beginning to wonder if there are players who might alternate between pad and a stick during a match.

Anybody know of such an instance? Whether it was shown on a stream, or maybe witnessed personally?

Megaman games, Mighty No. 6, Dead Rising 1 and REcore.

Also started the initiative at Capcom to make more Western outsourced games that Capcom has now scaled back on because it was a god damn disaster.

He no longer at works at Capcom.

He's not even a real game director, he's like a producer and a businessman.

OHHHHHH, him. Man, I forgot all about him.

I think its been at least 4 within the past 2 months.

And its probably just Ono revealing the Red Bull costumes and news on what the final prize winnings are for Capcom Cup.

Someone made a good comment about Dr.Strange.
That he used an infinite on Dormammu to defeat him in the movie.

fuckin' called it, man
preordering games is cheaper than waiting to buy them and is practically risk-free; I don't understand why you wouldn't preorder a game you're remotely interested in

Preorders, PowerUp/PUR Pro membership signups, and used games are all metrics that GameStop uses to evaluate employee performance.

Don't games usually go on sale a few weeks after launch

i wonder why does r/kappa get a free pass as a sponsored team when there's so much porno on that subreddit?
NSFW stuff is actually filtered out on reddit until you turn it on. They didn't always tag it, though. That's why that whole sub got suspended for a while.

It really makes no sense why they don't fix hitboxes like that but those Ibuki and Birdie glitches get patched asap. Even though if not for tool assisted no one would have even known about them let alone abuse them in a tournament in order to win like Ryu players can.

Because it's not a glitch or a mechanic not working as intended, it's just an over powered move.

It's the same stuff as Ken's air Tatsu having no lower body hit box. It falls more into balance change territory than fixing a bug.

They should honestly do two balance changes a year instead of this once a year stuff. Like 90% of the over powered stuff that was figured out month one of the game is still over powered, the meta didn't self correct.

extra $10 back for preordering certain games at best buy
return/price match period at best buy if the game goes on sale after the fact (up to 45 days)
preorder bonuses that are worth actual money (not everything is going to be 13-3's Yuna outfit that was going for $150, but still)
higher tradein values and largest playerbase immediately following launch

Oneida, you'd love Certain Women. Fantastic movie about the struggles of life as a woman in rural Montana. Really strong story telling and dynamics of a way of life not often shown on film. It's a feminist film that really shows the strength of women when dealing with a multitude of uncommon situations. Also you see Laura Dern topless.

Red Bull Battle Grounds, the CPT North America Regional finals just ended.

Capcom Cup 32 spots:

Won Premier Tournament: (9 players)

Infiltration (Final Round, NCR, EVO) (1670 global points)
Tokido (CEO, SEAM) (1048 global points)

Gamerbee (Japan Cup, EGX) (732 global points)
Daigo Umehara (EU CPT Regional Finals) (563 global points)
Phenom (Dreamhack Summer) (546 global points)
Momochi (Stunfest) (524 global points)
DR Ray (LA CPT Regional Finals) (88 global points)

With Infiltration, Tokido, Xiao Hai, Nuckledu and Gamerbee winning multiple premier tournaments, it opens up 6 more spots to the Global Rankings.

Qualification via Global Spot: (14 at the moment)

Justin Wong (984 global points)
Fuudo (804 global points)
MOV (600 global points)
Julio Fuentes (548 global points)
Xian (520 global points)
Haitani (492 global points)
Eita (482 global points)
Luffy (455 global points)
Mago (426 global points)
Go1 (414 global points)
FChamp (400 global points)
CCL (397 global points )
Chris T (384 global points)
Mister Crimson (361 global points)

Outside looking in on global points:
Kazunoko (349 global points)
Yukadon (346 global points)
KBrad (332 points)

With Nuckledu winning Canada Cup, the big winner is Chris T by doing absolutely nothing. He grabs the last open global spot due to Nuckledu now going via grabbing the Canada Cup Premier spot.

Participates qualify via global spots before Regional ranking spots:

Qualification via regions: (8 spots)

Asia: Kazunoko (247 Asia points), Sako (137 Asia points)

Outside looking in: Tse4444 (132 Asia points), Yukadon (90 Asia points)

Europe: Problem X (218 Europe Points), Ryan Hart (143 Europe points)

With Mister Crimson moving to a global spot, that allows Ryan Hart to move into the 2nd EU spot.

Latin America: Brolynho (305 LA points), Misterio (203 LA points)

Outside looking in: KBrad (196 LA points)

Misterio was able to get the 2 points he needed at TRETA to pass KBrad. He gets the 2nd spot, and KBrad needs to win the CPT LA Finals in order to qualify for Capcom Cup. However, the TO of Treta says that Misterio has visa problems and may not be able to travel to Capcom Cup. If that is true, then KBrad gets the 2nd LA spot.

With DR Ray winning CPT LA Finals, and KBrad finishes 2nd, KBrad has to hope that Misterio can't go.

North America: Ricky Ortiz (247 NA points), XsK_Samurai (202 NA points).

Outside looking in: Chris T (190 NA points), John Takeuchi (144 NA points)

-----
31 spots decided, 1 spot left:

Spots that still need to be determined:

Regional Finals:
Capcom Pro Tour Asia Regional Finals at Busan, South Korea (Nov. 17th-Nov. 19th)

Who else is popular? Yun? I think that's the only 3s character that has a chance

Cody/ Everyone else from final fight
Vipes is pretty popular, and she's already in some strories in that game
Rose
Dudders
Yang along with yun just bring em both

I feel like q can be popular

If you wanna get real dire, even versions of characters. And i'm still suspect that tease is actually just evil ryu

I feel like I am the only person who wants Fei Long back.

He feels like he would be really strong in SFV and a lot easier to play.

Standing jab anti air.
Chicken Wing to get around fireballs.
Reversal DP to get pressure off.
Great normals though SFV will make them a lot worse.
Overhead.
Command grab.

He can be Necalli tier to be honest minus the clearly over powered V trigger. His V Skill can be his special punch he has in Omega mode for SF4 which can work kinda like the Karin V Skill.

I want Fei back. I was using him a lot the last year of SFIV. The original world warriors should always be back if some of the cast are.

How would Rekkas work, though? I guess they would end up like Bison's scissor kick...pretty ass.
