I'm actually getting tight at all the times I'm trading with Nanase's projectiles. :x Eltnum can blow them up bad in neutral pretty bad, but the spacing for it is a bit precise, and that does not seem to be happening online.

Nanase's pressure is so fake
Blockstring into Force Function A fireball definitely loses to almost anything (lEltnum 2C like you know about). Getting CHed out of my 3C really hurts lol. Also I guess Eltnum's gaps in charge 5C isn't big enough for Nanase to 2B through.
Edit: Also I don't know why I did fullscreen air fireball. I saw your meter stocked lol

If you have crap footsies then yeah, all you can do is guess.
If you have really, really good footsies... then you're still gonna be forced to guess unless you land 7 or 8 step kick combos a round.

I made a post in the MKX thread, but... why are Mike Ross and Gootecks so shitty at fighting games that aren't SF? I started on vanilla SF4 and I can literally pick up any fighter, play for a bit, and I'll be decent at it to win more than I lose without issues.
If Gootecks really spent 3+hours off camera training on MKX, then they go online and he just gets bodied....wtf did you do for 3 hours? Fap to frame data? :/
They should've brought Chris G on with them so he can teach them, and body fools online for them.

MK does play pretty different from most fighters. Maybe it just didn't click with him yet.
They don't really give a fuck for learning non-SF games beyond some combos they can whip out to break up the comedy of them being ass at the games. Was like this for MK9, Marvel, etc.

Playing story mode and then going to training to learn strings to play more story mode isn't really "picking up" a game.
I almost died when Ross fucking asked how to pause the game though.
I'm guessing the 3 hours was spent in story mode. I'm sure if they really wanted to learn the game, they could easily spend a bit of time in the lab and do okay online.
