Fighting Games Weekly | April 1-7 | And after 0-3, he has risen

Hi I Am Nasty and Padtrick beat ChrisG last year. Both haven't really been keeping up with the game much. Norcal doesn't have many answers to him, they got Drew Grimey and Apologyman but that's it. Everyone else uses that same shit.

Nah i wanted to rewatch all of the people that have beat chris g last year/this year. wanted to watch that match. The epic yipes vs chris g set at summer jam, the mihe match, probably his match in top 8 evo vs champ and rog vs him in january.

So your idea of a counter pick is to pick the same duo? Obviously it will "work" but you need to play the duo better than ChrisG to beat him. Zero first is a better strategy because he can whittle down Morrigan so that when your Morrigan comes into play you would have an advantage in the mirror. This ALMOST worked for Flocker but he got "keep calm'd" by Chris' Vergil.
Thought process was that Shuma's screen clear would negate the other side's projectile volley. Wasn't sure on practicality.

As far as I can tell the players who have beaten ChrisG on stream (when he started using Morrigan) in tournaments are:

Justin Wong - Winter Brawl and CEO
Yipes - Summer Slam
Joker - Canada Cup
Hi I Am Nasty - Norcal Regionals
Padtrick - Norcal Regionals
Combofiend - ECT
PRRog - Socal Regionals
FChamp - EVO and ECT
Mihe - Final Round

Damn, that paper. Throw us some of that money for Spooky, Capcom

I just played some Injustice. I like Lex, he has some cool tools. Plus since he's in a robot suit when he fights like a robot it feels natural to him. The other characters are human but they fight stiff as hell too. Game is more fluid when you are playing it, 60FPS and all that jazz.

I don't like the stage interaction stuff and they deal a ton of damage. Other than that I am clueless on the game engine, I am just mashing stuff like a scrub. Wonder Woman's sword stance is ass or there is something to it that I am not getting.

They should of gave her jedah air movement while she flys in the invisible plane.

I wish dashes were normal cancelable

OK the Injustice hate is getting out of control here guys. Let's tone down the hyperbole a bit here.
This wasn't even a hyperbole. All characters can't normal cancel out of their dashes which makes them unsafe.... just like Iron Man. I have no idea how to use the mobility of Wonder Woman either but that's fine because it's not like she is up against characters that are hyper mobile so her having an air dash gives her an edge. Sort of like Iron Man versus Iron Fist... bad air dash is still better than no air dash.

Game flows better when you start doing real combos. Batman's summon Batman gadget things is sweet. I like the tools they have given the characters but I have no idea how to gel them altogether. Lex looks like a Karst type of guy... maybe I don't know. I just don't care for the cinematic stuff and interactive environment gimmicks.

zafinas face is really well done. Probably the highest detail/highest resolution face in tt2's intro sequences.
