Fighting Games Weekly | April 1-7 | And after 0-3, he has risen

God I hate 3 day tournaments, I was thinking of going but now hell no. Pools start at 10 am on Friday, like wtf.
Isn't one of the advantage to getting a Friday pool is that you have less people in it?

Tekken's not till Friday night anyway, but it looks like SFxT just got kinda screwed.

I'm not sure if early pools are any different. To me its bad because I play Capcom games+Tekken so I would potentially have to be there from 10 am to 9 pm both fri/sat, waiting for pool matches. Yuck

Very strange schedule, but I like it

Here it is

That's a lot of Smash Bros.

Block button or no block button (hold back to block)?

I vote hold back. I am pringles as fuck in games that require a button press to guard.

i dont like holding a button for block, especially the way mk games have handled it where you see the block animations. It looks about as dumb as a sfiv charge character vs charge character match.

Enzo, the Empire is going to be hunting down Rebels when they're in Canada, don't get caught bro! BibleThump
I have to congratulate the grandmaster in person for his gracious sponsorship of FGC-GAF!

Think about it, we're one step away from VxG Elite|EMP|GAF|Enzo.

Also EMP Crazy Joe is the theory best player ever.

32 pools for Marvel and SF4? Come on man, Cali has never produced numbers that big outside of the early SF4 period. Are 6-7 man pools going to be the standard from now on? Win 2 straight and you've made it out of pools? lol.

Chris asking Sanford questions only to interrupt Sanford with more questions before he finishes answering the previous question.

Hmm, I think Sanford was talking about a fellow GAF'er Chaotix. He plays Dudley and said that he beat Ryan in a MM. He didn't mention Sanford though, but Sanford said he beat a Duds that beat Ryan.

I thought you could request a Saturday pool for tournaments with split days?

Has Sanford ever won a SSF4 major?

Dude talks like he's the business in SF4 when he gets bodied by Floke.

Well he did win Power Up 2012, which was Road to EVO tourney. But it only had around 70 players I think. Hardly "Major" numbers by most peoples standards.

Every game is matchup dependant. Unless you're playing a game with a busted-ass top tier strategy/character (like Morridoom/3s Chun) you need to learn more than one character to cover your bad matchups. Infiltration's the best in the world right now in SF4, and he plays 3 different characters.
