He must not have seen when Daigo was having trouble against a Hong Kong Chun player in top 16 at Evo 2009 who kept using Hazanshu to get over his fireballs. I believe Daigo went down the first game and then remembered he could focus attack to counter.
After that he ran all over him.
I get it's a different iteration of the game and all that, but the statement just reminds me of that moment.
And not surprised at the quality of comments on EH. When you use clickbait to get as many people as possible to view your "content", you have to pander to the lowest common denominator and this is the result.

Yeah, I don't get how people still manage to find the energy to whine about things being good in fighting games. Powerful tactics are a constant. 9/10 they're only as good as your willingness to let them beat you.

YRC is baller. FRCs can go die in a gunflame. Sorry that I don't like the effectiveness of a character being tied to 2 frames?
also the slowdown on the new RCs isn't as bad as I thought; it lets you hitconfirm some cool stuff and pressure harder, but it also is a giant red (or yellow) flag that says "HERE COMES A MIXUP" so it's harder to RC and catch somebody with something silly because they didn't see it.
Really, we should all just be complaining about Danger Time.

I dont see him doing the latter because he'd rather play one character. Daigo can use yun at a high level, sagat, akuma, guile, guy, gouken...he knows how to play a lot of characters. But he simply doesn't counterpick.
The funny thing is.. Daigo is winning with fundamentals only. He shows very little character knowledge with Hugo (Which is expected as he hasn't had much time with him). If Daigo actually used meatsquasher as a punish and in mix ups, used dd+mk and st.mk as overhead instead of cr.Hk, used st.Hp as anti air etc. he could have been even more scary! Hugo is looking good

Well she is an idol that bases all of her popularity around her ass (which is a big deal for an asian I guess), so when Capcom chose to have her on the show, I would think her ass played a big role. Now if you hire someone for their ass, then they better get out of their clothes so it can be showcased!? Although she did play a basic Blanka which is impressive unless she has more experience with the game than a pre-stream session with Daigo teaching her to mash electricity, hop and grab
