Joey Cuellar ‏@MrWizardSRK
Once again, we will reveal the Evo 2013 lineup on @wakeupSRK - January 8th. Get ready for the hype train to leave the station! #evo2k #hype

What tournaments are everyone planning to attend this year? CEO is the most certain, EVO is pretty much a lock too though. Thinking about Final Round.

Depends on the format but if it's Pokemon style ChrisG might OCV all of Norcal by himself. If it's like a Round Robin I like Norcal.

But yeah no way is Norcal not going to give NY a run for their money. It also depends upon if they include PRRog in it as well.

Marvel needs an EC vs WC event for Ultimate Marvel already. I am tired of all these empty talk... someone set something up already.

My Norcal vs NYC 6v6 picks

NYC: Chris "Genius/Godlike/G-sus" (Captain), Ray "Gohan" Ray, Noel "Best in the World" Brown, Loaded Flux, IFC "Curley Mustache" Yipes, Marlin "Based Swag" Pie

Mascot: Fooblat

Norcal: Filipino "Evo" Champ (Captain), PR "Go Ham" Rog, Drew "Ryback" Grimey, Shady "Washed up vet" K, K "Style It" Beast, Padtrick

Mascot: CJ "This time is our time" Showstoppa

I feel like if they extend it to 8v8 NY has to include LI to bolster its squad with the likes of Moonz.

Lol I think NorCal is better than SoCal but I don't think they would body NYC

NorCal and SoCal are way better than NYC from top to bottom. If you are doing 5 vs 5 I think NYC is really really good, but anything past 5 I don't like NYC chances.

Watching anything below top 8 at Big Two is just pathetic and sad. Norcal vs SoCal 8v8 was good and even then there was still so many guy left out of the list.

Basically what I'm saying is NYC best is probably the best. But NYC mid level, and anything lower is ass compared to Norcal's and Socal's mid level.

Can you even name 15 or 20 NYC players? Basically what I'm saying is 5v5 I like NYC over both SoCal and NorCal, but once you go above 5 it flips the other way.

I used to think that but as of recent, IMO the mid-level players in SoCal and NorCal would get eaten for lunch in a Big Two bracket. Dudes like Royal Flush and Honzo would get randomed out QUICK with the minefield that is the NYC scene. Those guys would lose to a Fooblat, General Scales or LI Joe.

Norcal also has Combofiend.

NorCal has me!!!

Actually to be honest I have a friend that's really good that knows lamerboi that lives in san jose. Fucking amazing spiderman player. I should try and convince him to go to more tournaments

And by amazing spiderman player I mean fucking pure rage inducing

No Crazy Joe mention for guys that'd random out folks? Dude is a nut and playing the most potent shit in the game. :lol

This East vs. West thing really needs to happen soon, I've been waiting since Season's Beatings Velocity for the next encounter.

Thats it, I'm learning Spencer. That assist just does too much.
Huh, RayRay doesn't have much faith in Viper it seems. He brings up some interesting points.

Anything beyond 5 v 5 is bit much anyway. At that point players are just looking for meat sacks to throw on the team.

I think 8 is pretty good, Socal vs Norcal showcased that pretty well.

And yea NY starts to become really thin after like 8 players including LI players.

I thought 8 for NorCal was really stretching it.
Though I guess you could substitute with PR Rog, Ricky, and Combo now.

People are instigating something between Long Island and PR Rog.

Yeah what's sucks is that the stream monsters are making it worse. Seem's like the only non-childish ones involved were moons and pr themselves.

so i realized i could watch the fgtv stream in 720p+, and i dont have a subscription. how long has this been happening?

Since yesterday I believe, maybe a little before that, fchamp wants more subscribers for his channel so he's giving it out for free, before the has to move

So today twitter drama is James Chen vs anime. It was about what games will be at EVO and some people may interpret his words as saying tat anime scenes don't support weeklies.

F Champ
PR Rog
Chris Schmidt (he is NorCal, correct?)
Combofiend
X Ray
Padtrick
Drew
Ricky/GC Yoshi

vs

Chris G
Yipes
Rayray
Flux
Marlinpie
Dieminion
Noel Brown
Moons

Looks pretty close between them to me. If anything Nor Cal's best 5 is significantly stronger than NY's best 5.

You kinda have to be at the right place at the right time when ball activates, not grounded from full-screen like that 5th Lord did.
Incorrect. If Dormammu does Purification x Stalking Flare, and Hawkeye blocks the Purification, he has just barely enough time to superjump and Gimlet, and Gimlet passes over Stalking Flare. I've never met a Hawkeye that knew this, though!
