Tom Cannon announced on twitter that SCR is a Road to EVO event.

I haven't seen CJ since Bar Battles 2. He's been in Jersey for a while but not at many events.
It could easily get seeding points at other events once the patch drops. I wouldn't count the game out just based on SCR, but I wouldn't lose sleep if it wasn't at EVO this year.
Hmmm....ok then, didn't knew that, but I'm hoping SfxT makes it #SfxTDefenseForce

Go to lovegetty over in Markham, highway 8 I think. It's got some good bubble tea places in the plaza and is the last REAL arcade around. If you go to A&C, though, tell Gar and Chang I say hi~ Just call me Chris-Li

Valle explained on the SRK forums that it didn't make sense for them to put SFxT in when the patch is coming out soon. He also mentioned about the low turnout of SFxT in other majors, but yeah at least you could make a case that the patch will miraculously make SFxT better received.
