Makes me a little sad the Hugo would get the splash and not combo immediately off of it but instead went with the reset a few times. As expect of grapplers, the cammy match-up seemed OK despite divekick pressure because she always wants to go in, lol.

It doesn't have to be that resource intensive. EVO could try to release a series of videos for each game in their lineup. Have like 2 videos at most; one to explain the basics and the other could be a real match with the commentators pointing everything out. They could release videos on a weekly basis up until the day of the event. It's definitely possible given the current state of the FGC.

Not really. Commentators are always talking about stuff like plinks, DPs, TACs, okis, OSs, FADC etc. under the assumption that the viewing audience knows these terms. A layman is not expected to know these terms or even how to execute most moves in the game... otherwise they wouldn't be a layman.

Of course the slower pace of the MOBA genre lends itself well to this type of thing compared to fighting game where there is only so much you can say in a limited time.
