Yeah, I can't tell if Geoff just doesn't want to be there, or if is just kinda taken aback from the crowd/event, or both. I've seen him do console launches and stuff, but this is about as large of a group of rabid people he's probably ever directly had to deal with. It's pretty hilarious.
he isnt gonna win GF either way, way too reliant on items.

To say it bluntly, this Smash event is pretty lame. Why did I think it was to be than something like an officially sanctioned Gamestop Brawl tournament? Smash Balls are thoroughly lame and the way items are implemented hasn't evolved since the first game, which is just such a waste of potential. Items can be alright, but free for all plus items is a mess. And then the winner for one of the matches was decided by a fan vote, after they forgot how to count negative numbers?
Anyway, I'm really hyped for this game having said that. Palutena's move-set is seriously cool as someone who's played Uprising (they are all equippable powers from that game), and she's just a great character besides. Mii Fighter move sets were also rather impressive and the game overall just looks a leap in every sense over Brawl (somehow this seems more true to me with the footage they are showing at E3 than before). I'll see if I can get the chance to play it at a Bestbuy this Saturday. I'm even considering the 3DS version...
