guys tell me if you think this would make a good thread on neogaf:
think of two games you like
swap the developers
post your results
don't read anyone's post
don't discuss anything
first post nails itThe 4th and 5th points are things I like because most of those types of threads devolve into a bunch of people quoting 1 idea and saying "this".

a minimum word count is a good idea because I would want to discourage posts that are so short another user might read them by accident. I should probably put that requirement in the thread title in case someone doesn't read the OP.Not discussing anything probably wouldn't fly well with the mods. Lists threads are heavily looked down upon.
Maybe have a minimum word count? And a one post per poster limit?
Your first mistake Oneida was reading general threads on gaming side
Why read the first post when you can read the thread title! No but seriously I wouldn't count on it, it's the same group of people that can't be assed to read a review and only care about the number the game gets. Sadly it's fairly common. As a mod on Smashboards, I do dislike list threads. It's really bad when people post a list without going into any detail as well.
Any thread where people post their one thought and leave is nothing more than a +1 post count thread, and those bother me greatly.
Edit: Sometimes the first post clarifies how the thread works and that you should go into detail. But so many people fail to read the first post :/

Is anime a sin? (@SavedYouAClick: No.)
My least favourite threads are the ones where the op is like "capcom is going to announce something" and all the posts are like onimusha! powerstone! and so on. Happens all the time. And every company is always going to announce something because they're all working on stuff, and they occasionally say they're working on stuff and then you get these threads.
SRK equivalent for Smash? I wanted to read about the movesets/properties.

Don't mash. Piano. So after getting my stick mailed to me after moving, I decided to buy Ultra sf4 because I thought maybe for once I should play a game someone else plays. I've played all the others, so I know bnbs and what not, so I'm checking them out to see damage changes and stuff. For Chun's back mk, mk into up kick target combo (I don't even know if it is listed as a target combo) into Kikosho, does the Kikosho have a sweet spot? I get all 22 hits every time but I have had do from 260 damage to around 320. Just wondering since I'm just fooling around with things.
Also my middle and ringer finger move together. It's so annoying to mash legs because I get ex legs when trying to get it after cr. HP because I accidently hit MK and HK together. At least it's easy to get HK Lightning legs off cl.MP. It sort of feels to mash with Joe in Kof13 because that was only 2 buttons and you only need 4 inputs to get a tnt punch while trying not to over-mash, though I wasn't godlike enough to link those tnts for the stun combo using barely any resources, even though I could only stun if I had enough meter to extend the loop.
