Fighting Games Weekly | September 3-9

The team dynamic is not as complicated as marvel, but it does emphasize the importance of battery characters a lot more than marvel because of how powerful HD combos are. So it's usually a rule of thumb to have a character that does decent damage without meter on point and then 2 meter whores in the back to spend the meter. There are also some slight character match-up mindgames going on since you can switch the order of your team, so players may attempt to switch up their order to ensure the best match-ups for their team.

Pretty much this.

While you'll hardly ever see a Shen on point due to how much better he is with meter as anchor you'll see a lot of King, Kyo on point since they required very little meter to do damage plus they build tons. However there are all round characters like Mr.Karate and Kim who can go in any position do damage and work great with the rest of your team. Example MadKOF used Kim as anchor at EVO while we've seen BALA use Kim on point at the last Runbacks.

Now let not forget about one major factor that sometimes comes into play "Player Preference" some players might really like X character and they feel like that's their best character and will place them in X position regardless of weather the character is best placed there.

Actions speak louder than words, and dude has been quite the talker for far too many months.

Stay free SFxTK team.
I'll stick up for them this time. Balancing fighters takes a while. It must be hell trying to balance a game like SFxT with the gems, pandora, misplaced mechanics/ideas and a roster of fifty characters. Ayano also basically inherited the mess after the game shipped.

My head would spin if I were handed something like that as my next project. Hell, I think I'd rather work on a brand new game if I were in his shoes(yeah, I'm completely ignorant in regards to game development).

This is true, but it doesn't really give hope when dude has been saying the same shit for months and the game is slowly dying whilst they keep pimping the Vita version. And at least he has an existing product to work with, instead of starting from scratch on something.

At this point, I feel like they should have given up on it now instead of poured more resources into it, or should have done what was needed to be done a while ago.

Eduardo with some sick Iron Man action on the FGTV stream.

twitch.tv/fgtvlive
Lol he knows the infinite but is doing some fairly basic combos.

I am hype tho. I think he's only playing him for the relatively easy infinite, but it'd be cool if PR Rog does an Iron Man expose and shows people the good stuff. Iron Man does relatively well against a lot of problem characters in the game too.

I'd rather see this too, but I'm a little biased as a "slighted" Mahvel fan. Thems the breaks.
Gamecenter's gonna be doing The Midnight Challenge every Friday starting at 8 PM.
FinestKO will be streaming it of course.

THE BEST BLAZBLUE TEAM IN AMERICA
Dat anime production quality. Very nice and everyone should give it a watch. Man, I remember watching the BlazBlue Japan revolution qualifiers and it was absolutely insane. It was the first time I ever felt like I was watching a healthy scene with BlazBlue in it. There was hype, tons of regulars/oldies and great commentary to complement the excellent play that we on. BlazBlue Revolution itself had a shitload of amazing matches too. The Japanese know their anime too well.

PR Rog is going to play with IM for as long as he played with RR.

God Vergil is such a fraud character. Watching people using his herp till they derp on levelup & fgtv streams lol.

Looks like a lot of players are playing other types of games at the moment. Would actually like to see Sp00ky tackle some modern games.

Shout outs to our local sponsor for our weekly gatherings in Colorado: Big Daddy's Pizza!

There's a bunch of games I would like to play but I just don't have time. If any of these guys would play them on stream, I'd watch.
