That YHC-Mochi-Haitani match was hard to watch. One mistake, and it was corner → stun → death.
 
Yeah. Sim is pretty much screwed if any of the rushdown characters get in on him. But he's so fun to play with. I've been using him a lot since AE came out. Seeing him keep out certain characters is one of the more entertaining things in the game.

Saty and Art would be proud. Ultra into slide super. :)

Off the top of my head I know he faced Daigo, PR Rog, and Gamerbee in in top 8. In pools and top 32 he faced DRS Chris, iPeru, Dieminion, and FNEX Bahn. Pretty much those were all his streamed matches.

And funny enough, the guy who did the best of all was DRS Chris, he was the only player to take a game off Infiltration during the whole tournament. He isn't very well known and has a very unorthodox style though. And this is why he did better than everybody else. Infil had intel on every top player and had a game plan prepared to counter all of them, but he had nothing on this Ken who did a lot of risky things and looked pretty random.
 
FGTV has a subscription now?

Have to have one to access their archives and worse yet, watch at 720p. What kind of BS is that? LOL. Half of the stuff should be free.

Not as bad as the fact that the sub gets you:

- Ability to chat during major events (subject to viewership)

They know that their dedicated fans will pay for it, so that's free money. Any extra is just gravy.
 
So I'm watching IGN's Let's Play of TTT2, and holy shit does this game have an absurd amount of features. I like videos like these because they give a good overview of the content in a game, especially for people like me who haven't been following the game closely.

I mean, I think it blows every other fighting game out of the water feature-wise, it's kind of ridiculous how much is in this game. If I was into Tekken, I'd pick this up instantly. Kind of tempted now considering it has 4 player local multiplayer AND offline replay functionality.
 
TTT2 easily has the most features for a fighter to date. I have been off the Tekken wagon since Marvel came around but I am definitely at least purchasing TTT2 to show support for such a package, even if I won't get to play it much.

Mike Z needs to release that patch soon, the game is not getting any offline support (wonder how the online community is though)
 
I was pretty lukewarm on TTT2(despite having the namesake of my all time favorite fighting game, Tekken 5), but then I saw 'Combot Mode'. I'm on board for anything that bonkers.

I feel the same. Have not played tekken since 3. Was going to pass on it for P4A, but being able to buy the game is a big plus.

Any idea how long the wait is for people who didn't pre-order a copy? I have it paid in full for PS3, but Harada was talking about a delay in release of DLC characters to those who didn't pre-order it.

Also, was SG that bad of a game that no one entered in the tournament? I bought the game, regretfully lol

I believe it's going to be 1 month wait for DLC.

Also the reason for SG doing bad is that they anounced a patch was coming a couple of months ago and people dropped the game because it wasn't at EVO and waiting for a patch before they pick it up. Anime players moved on to Persona and everybody else went back to Marvel.

I think the lack of characters hurts it, as well. It also played too much like GG/BB, sorta like P4A does. P4A has the best presentation in fighting games I've seen, IMO.
