MvCI's bracket for Seam isn't up yet?! Schedule hints at going from pools to top 8!

Is FChamp there?

If you're saying JDCR won't be in grand finals, I'm going to emphatically disagree

EDIT: It's a single elimination? Well...I don't know about that then

JDCR can get bopped first try by someone like Chanel

Actually, nevermind the other beasts I'm thinking that could take JDCR like LowHigh, Malgu, and JeongdDing all play on PC. JDCR is more experienced with the PS4 lag, so I'm changing my mind, EchoFox grand finals it is.

took a quick look at the brackets, seems like an easy win for tokido
only recognize him, mov, humanbomb, xiaohai and itazan
strange how xian's not there even though the tournament is in sg

They have to play the last chance qualifiers first. The final tournament is on Sunday and is an invitational of 8 players, with Xian already qualifying.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Xian brings to MvCI. He wasn't half bad at UMvC3, when he played. And I wonder if Kazunoko's skill in multiple fighting games will transfer over to Marvel. Should be an interesting tournament.

Justin Wong is playing as well.

Gamestart has went from a little warehouse to EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESPORTS in like 3 years.

I hope next year SEAM is its own stand alone event, and Gamestart stays the Asia Finals, because I think South East Asia can support that.

Is he still using Nova and Ultron or did he switch it up?

I know there's no hope for me here, but Zhi will probably be commentating SFV there, right? :/ Wish he wasn't, but it's Asia so...

Hardly any Japanese attending to win the LCQ tourney? No Haitani, Daigo, Yukadon, Fuudo, or even last weeks winner Dogura? I would have mentioned Bonchan but I know why he's missing in action.

I just find it strange, these guys fly overseas to America and Europe all the time to compete in the Premier events over there with a prize of at least 7k. But now they turn down the Asia Regional Finals which has an even bigger grand prize of 12k? That's the biggest CPT payout outside of EVO and Capcom Cup yet only Tokido and Itabashi went.

As for who will win it. I would have said Tokido for sure, but I think Xiaohai can definitely take it. He may not be having a good year, but he's always dangerous and has proved it already by taking out Tokido just 2 or 3 weeks after he won EVO. After that, who knows. The Asia Regional Finals isn't that strong because most of the best Asian players chose to ignore ranking events only to chase after Premier money. But if Tokido wins it, he'd be the favorite, but not a strong one.

Did marvel pools get streamed?

Edit: Archive

Winners bracket
FOX|Justin Wong (Nova, Ultron, Reality) vs. GGP|Kazunoko (Dormammu, Ultron, Space)
Rise|Marn (Dante, Zero, Power) vs. KillerKai (Zero, Mega Man X)

Losers bracket
CG|Champo (Morrigan, Dante, Time) vs. InC|TohMan (Nemesis, Haggar, Space)
Fubarduck (Dante, Ultron, Reality) vs. 7110.T (Zero, Dante, Space)

If this is Justin's main team/real level, he's nowhere near Sonicfox or FChamp level. Went 2-1 twice and was one hit away from being sent to losers by 7110.T who I don't think knows you get a free level 3 with every storm! :\

Well, they turned down a play-in to get into the Asia Finals. Not quite the same. If you finish as high as 2nd you get nothing for your troubles.

I know that but the points still stands. They had a chance to win 12k and the tournament isn't even that big. It was only around 50-60 people plus the 7 qualified players. I think all those guys I mentioned are going to Canada Cup. The flight over there is longer, prize is lower, and the tournament will be much larger(probably 250+ when registration ends).

It's no big deal, they'll do what they want to do. I just found it odd considering how they've chosen which tournaments to attend this year.

I fell asleep cause I thought Noroma had it in the bag, I can't believe Qudans really pulled it out of his ass. Amazing player.

I hope Oil King loses so the Ibukis and Rashids have to fight it out in the bloodbath of Losers' bracket.

Did this top 8 start on time?
