Ha ha. I prefer not to think about things like that. I simply concern myself with the month-by-month costs. There's not much reason to worry about the big picture anymore than you would worry how much all of your electric or water bills are going to amount to for the next year.
Just got home to be greeted with part of my August order! Got nendo Ryuko, 2 GSC Madokas, and Rorona today. Tomorrow or Wednesday I should be getting 2 more (Ludger since I had to pass on the Xillia 2 LE because I had no money at the time and Totori to finish off my alchemist group) and this weekend or so I should be getting my magical girl Nia figure to finish off the month. Spent more than I meant to this month, but whatever. Next month is gonna be pretty awful, too. (and I may not even be done this month- I'm thinking of getting a Jojo figure for my boyfriend- need to start him down this dangerous figure path as well)

My August order was only two pre-owned figures, amounting to 7k even after shipping. Good thing, because September is looking apocalyptic. Here's hoping we get delays out the ass.

Yeah, I've been cutting back. Especially on impulse buys and the like. For the most part, I decide what I'm going to buy based on what gets displayed at shows like WonFest. Then if the painted previews turn out well, I'll usually pre-order.

Did you factor in some of the exclusives, such as the Seven Deadly Sins, that I have pre-paid already? That should knock off $200-$300 or so.

I was most excited for EO4 Sniper Girl and she is gorgeous!
Gotta pick up some paint and practice on a Gundam model before building her because a straight build won't look very nice at all.
They were even nice enough to include two free HG Custom Gun kits in my order.

So, I got this Madoka figure in my box today and I cannot for the life of me get her foot onto the peg thing on the base. It's frustrating me so much I'm about ready to just pack her back up. I love the figure- she's adorable, but it's pretty annoying. Anyone have this figure and had any troubles?

I've been watching the anime from the beginning, but now that best girl has been introduced, I realize we need an Esdese figure yesterday. Maybe I should check out the manga, too.
Even though I've seen a bunch of pictures of her at this point, she's still gorgeous. The first really unique racing Miku I've seen. I think it's the addition of the moe generators on her hips this year.
Well. That's still no small amount of money to spend on a hobby.
I am more afraid of my LEGO spending than my figure spending. I know I've easily spent at least 3k on LEGO this year which is actually light. I think I spent around 7k in 2011, Over 20k since I started collecting LEGO again in 2009.
Yeah, those definitely add to her already very dynamic design.
Calculating the cost of all my figure preorders is scary...

I have about 50,000 JPY worth of preorders on AmiAmi.
Needa is amazing as a standalone piece. Definitely get her. One of the best Shunya figures.
