Something I noticed in the trailer...
At the moment before he jumps off on to the train, there are some differences in the scene. The main thing is the distortion effect, which suggests Cloud is having some sort of mental thing, but there's another thing too.
Right before the distortion, there's a Shinra grunt who seems to be surprised by Cloud or something (just lip movements, so it's hard to tell), possibly saying Cloud's name. Cloud turns to him, and then there's the distortion. Then when Cloud runs, the Shinra grunt moves towards him, and it actually cuts to him with his helmet lifted up, face visible and hand outstretched to Cloud. (It's hard to see his face in the gif, but in the video itself you can see it's actually fully rendered, not just his jaw.)
I'm wondering... is this a new character? A grunt that recognizes Cloud, and causes Cloud to have a mental spasm because it clashes with his?false memories as Zack
Ah, I'd wondered what was happening there! I love the idea of a fellow grunt recognising Cloud from back in the day.
I hope we get more Reeve, as his compilation redesign was great, and he was always really charming in DoC. (Well, outside of the blue coat!) More Jamieson Price, please!

Yes i agree with you,at the start of the original game i always imagined him yelling and being in hurry.
as for the shades i like how 90ish it looks and for sure he is going to take it off at some point later for sure

I don't exactly know why, and maybe that's because I'm a sucker for turn-based, but Barret's animation while shooting doesn't look exactly as "real-time motion".
I mean, I just get the feeling nobody is actually steering him with a stick, and that is just the result of pressing "attack" with a locked on enemy nearby. In the meanwhile, the other characters act according to a gambit.
I could deal with THIS kind of "flashy" more dynamic TB combat.

FFXV team probably didn't have the content at a high enough level of completion and with the battle system changing all the time it maybe was better to wait until it was final, I expect a gameplay trailer at Jump Festa though

Places of wonder, like the Temple of the Ancients(and the Forgotten Capital) are ones I really can't wait to see in the remake(as well as Gold Saucer, cause I'm a fool for theme parks). A part of me, though, would want them to change the hieroglyphics on the wall to look like something less overly Egyptian and something more "original". That was probably one of my old school gripes I held since 1997. No doubt they'll add more character to the locations. I mean, looking at how Wutai looked in the original(which was just full on Asian pagodas), than seeing Fort Tamblin in Crisis Core as being something that took the Asian look and added some originality with it to make it its own kinda thing, I'm guessing we'll see more of that here.

They half a decade crafting a story and another half crafting a verticle slice. It's pretty incredible.

They haven't announced crap regarding Cait Sith, some people are just saying that they dislike the character.
Also looking forward to seeing how the Midgar Zolom section is handled. I found it intimidating the first time I went through it. Imagine running from the Midgar Zolom in 3D and with modern graphics. I want to experience this.
I can't wait for the winter parts: Great Glacier, Icicle Inn, Gaea's Cliff. I'm interested in how they handle that whole section of the game.
I'm amazed that they are this far along in development, I didn't expect to see another lick of this game until next E3. Happy to see that Square is serious again and is operating efficiently.

You're likely SOL then, it's pretty damn safe to say the elements of the extended universe will be present. Angeal and Genesis are probably going to get mentioned when going into Zack and Seph's pasts and Vincent will likely have a single transformed state (the updated Galian Beast) that becomes Chaos late in the game like Dirge.
As for me, I want all that stuff (especially Vincent gameplay with this battle system, my god) and this looks fantastic thus far.

Is 1080p on Youtube really the best quality we have released so far? Where is Gamersyde? I want to redo the trailer frame by frame with actual decent quality, not pixelated mess ._.

I might actually be alright if the game cut him. But that said I only played it for the first time a few years ago and might not remember everything about his character.
