Welcome! You came at a...dramatic time but the event coming will be good for new players. Despite the frustration we might be showing here at the moment everyone is nice and super helpful. Feel free to ask any question(s) you want. People can offer really strong friend units and a strategy for basically any fight you get stuck on. I'm not sure how seriously you plan to take the game but the OP has lots of useful links if you want to delve deeper into unit rankings, optimal farming, macros etc.

Romancing Saga 3 has not yet been released outside of JP. News of a localized Android port came out back in March or April, but the game has not materialized. Maybe we'll get the banner when it releases as a cross-promotional opportunity. Maybe not. It's not a reliable thing, regardless.

The news of RS3 release came from Kawazu's Twitter a few months ago, so we should expect it to be fairly reliable.

They are remastering the game for Vita, iOS, and Android right now so I would expect a US release especially if Kawazu is confirming it. Hopefully, they release the game on Switch as well as I haven't touched my Vita in the longest time.

FFBE banner would be a perfect complement to the RS3 launch as it would be a bigger explosire to the series than most global fans have. It's really an excellent game.

Noctis looks just ok but his animations are awesome
Way too much baggage now but Lightning was cool as shit when she first came out

Everyone is complaining about this banner being 'ruined' but no one seems to be keeping in mind that we're getting it four months early with the units and their TMs not nerfed at all. That's no longer a factor because it doesn't feed into the victim mentality people have developed over a gacha game.

By the way, who pre-judges a unit based on their TM? I guess Xon and Ling are trash too.

Yeah but if I don't bitch and moan my luck won't change.

It's worked time and time again, and they've set up the perfect scenario for me to complain, so I'm hoping that I'm setting myself up for luck come Friday.

Nothing would make me happier than seeing the Romancing Saga series catch on again.

I've only played through a few games in Japanese, and several were JP versions of games released in NA: Chrono Trigger and FF1, specifically. RS3 was amazing: it took effort to translate that game because there aren't scripts, decent FAQs, or story beats anyone recognized.

Lightning gets dual wield natively, Abel has a knife TMR that let's a knife user dual wield, Gilgamesh has the Genji Glove a TMR that enables dual wield and there's a few event weapons that enable dual wield like the Second Blade.

Can someone explain to me why Pod 153 is a big deal? Looking at it it doesn't seem that good, and I have a bunch of tickets and I'm thinking I would rather use them on current banner?

EV is straight "Damage reduction" and 9S TM ability is "physical damage reduction", so they would stack.

I think it should stack with Wilhelms LB as well.

On one hand it's crazy on other hand we can already AoE defend the party with evade tanks. If we had AoE magical only mitigation, then the game would be completely broken.

That's 45% HP, 20% DEF, 15% SPR and 30% Light Resistance with a 30% autoheal counter.

WoL will become an unstoppable machine, especially once he gets Enhancements.


Almost done with my Arsha's Talisman (89.7%) and my Rasler TM is currently at 31%.
