LOL yeah that sounds like its not working as intended.
What do people think of Gumi changing the gold rates without touching the rainbow rates? Say, 1/3rd of golds are on-banner instead of 1/4th and gold rates are upped to 25%. So one on-banner gold has an 8.3% chance (9S would have a 4.2% chance, Tilith would have had 2.8%). Would you rather have that soon than a 3% rainbow chance much later?

You're seeing lots of Cecil because WoL didn't have a 6* back then. WoL is probably better now, especially if you don't have provoke for Cecil. Make sure he has the safety bit on so he can take the instant death attacks Gilg does on thresholds. Most of Gilg's attacks are physical so Light is With Us should trigger for most of them.
Oh yeah I always forget about that one.You could also put the golem staff on WoL to have a backup source of earth damage.
mostly agree, except I'd put snort by itself as 1, and move everything down by 1. nothing sucks more than permanently losing a fighter(s), where as the others can be dealt with
You forgot disease and blind. I'd put disease at 5) and blind at 6). I'd probably put instant death with confusion. With lots of full-life and reraise options now death isn't actually that bad, while confusion wastes your turn and hurts the rest of your team (maybe). Stone is worse than paralyze because you can kill and revive a paralyzed unit. If you don't have stona/item with a petrified unit you're screwed. Stop, Charm and Snort are indeed awful because nothing can be done to prevent them. Maybe Snort at the top because nothing can be done to cure it either. The top 3 are so rare though that when they happen it's usually easy to control or avoid them. I might say confusion is the worst because it's much more common, harder to predict, and not many accessories prevent it.
So what's the next big and tricky Trial now that the Robot is over with? Is it the Moon one?
Just thinking what to prepare for haha.

Not that this matters much, but I did single pulls on the simulator until I got 3 9S. On my 260th pull I got the 3rd one. It took over 100 to get the first one. However, in that same time frame I pulled 4 rainbows. Naked D. Fina, Trance Terra, A2 and Wilhelm. Insane if that thing is close to actual rates.
Three weeks of double 5* banners are taking its toll, especially as the DK/DF banner is followed by Nier. High desirability units hidden behind ever more-difficult RNG is going to rub a lot of people the wrong way.
Same thing happened to JP when Cloud was released, lots of stories of rage quitters. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot of charge backs as people quit.
Personally, I think they should have space these banners out a little better, and split up some of these 5*s, especially as Onion Knight is also around the corner (unless they delay him).
My first 10+1 pull on the simulator I got 2B, A2, and two 9Ss, My luck in real life is nothing like that, it on shit that doesn't matter.

Funny part about Cloud's banner is that the 2 of the 3 units there supported him with TMs. Martial Gloves and Revolver Saw are best in slot for him. Slightly more annoying to pull a Cloud but you'd be getting his best gear still, heh.
Events also don't come as fast and furious as GL does for JP so it's not like they're overloading folks.
Speaking of dumpster fire on reddit, saw a guy complaining about DH sucking and being replaced by TDH thus say the enhancement to Dark Veritas worthless. Oh boy, these folks don't understand it's a balancing issue. Some characters getting DH over TDH is entirely because their base mods are much stronger than some characters and giving them access to do so with a 2H weapon would be nuts.

Going to? I'm pretty sure at this point that many Global players are already feeling the burn of being rubbed the wrong way. The blazing inferno of Reddit Rage over what all but surely appears to be intentional dilution of the Nier banner for Global in regards of pulling 2B and 9S can already been seen from outer space and I even hear that stock at the Pitchfork Emporium is on backorder.

In the very shallow viewpoint of Reddit, all they see is that a top-tier unit is not receiving a top-of-the-meta enhancement (because it could technically be better in the strictly most literal sense), and therefore is trash tier.
Reddit is about the absolute last place in the world where anyone talks about balancing, as those posts will be downvoted to oblivion in a heartbeat. Broken units must **obviously** stay brokenly strong forever and ever, which of course will never realistically happen.

2 more tickets from story event. Took me 2 times to beat Rain with that damn limit burst. 2 Fryevia doing too much damage so I had to switch it up. Another fine story event with really great rewards.

Just finished the Rain/Lasswell fight in story for second time on Main... Fuck Lasswell up the ass. He has ruined both goes. First time I did a different tactic in general, but he ruined both. Is it better if you Provoke first round and break him second? Or should I break his dumb ass first? Anything to cut down on the god damn bullshit he does. Or is it just better to kill Lasswell first?
[JP] Over 100k in currency now. Woot woot. First Mog King I've bothered to tackle on JP and so far it's going well. I'd like to get a shit ton from it, so we'll see. Only thing I've purchased so far are some 6* mats (just like 30 Fairies' Writ), all Cactaur, and x3 of the Atk/Maneater abilites (one for Tidus, one for OK, one for Agrias for now). Feeling pretty good there. Just with the gear from it wasn't so meh. Well the accessory and mace. I've got no mace wielders. But will end up getting it in case.
Rain goes equally berserk if you kill Lasswell.

Ahh just checked their move list and looks like Lasswell can remove your buff so it's probably better to take him out first so he doesn't do it when enraged.

Is Rain worse on berserk? Or just as equally as bad? This no continue crap is not even worth it after round 3. I figured I'd try to take them down together, but that didn't work either.
Edit: LOL couldn't even get the damn limit burst on Rain on Alt. I planned for a round two, but didn't think I'd quite make it. Guess Ace went boss with Tri-Laser Beam that second time. ;_; Ah well. Done with story on both. I'd love the Moogle on both, but it's not worth my sanity. Plus, on main, I've got Crysts to farm for DKC. I want to try to incorporate him in, but not going to bother until I can get his enhancements rolling.

It would be good to have someone to pair with your Orlandu but I wouldn't say you absolutely need him.
You absolutely should get 9S and Ayaka though, all the others bring nothing to your table.
Out of the 5 rainbows I've had, only 2 were on banner lol.

someone explained it on discord, 2b has 80% passive attack boosts than you equip her how you like...
a2 has stat buffs like noctis, so equipping her to take advantage of whichever she has will boost her~

We are going to find out that Gumi made a typo. That's why the TMR is named "Resentment".
I have completely and total resentment when it comes to this troll gold, but I'll take the free 20% HP materias if they don't pull a fast one and turn it back into MP.
