If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free

I swar i have already pulled her like 10 times she is in every second Gold Crystal i pull so annoying :-/

I bought all of the chests which contain lapis or tickets, plus $100 in amazon coins (so more like $80), plus used all my saved tickets... all in all it was around 120 pulls, so not overboard but was still quite a bit of resources. No rainbow. 3% sure would be a gamechanger for people like me who are willing to spend $$$ but don't want to whale out.

I did end up with 5 9S, but anything over two is overkill anyway it looks like.

Kinda regretting not levelling EV's LB before getting him to 6*. 'Luckily' going HAM on the Nier banner brought me about 5 more so maybe I'll start LB levelling another one in the background.

Nazta datamined the server. Looks like it's Veritas banner #2 (Light, Heavens, Water) and a new story event next. Also, Charlotte and Hayate get their 6*.

Edit: looks like the announcements are in game now and not just datamined.

So did they nerf the raid coin summons behind the scenes? Because at the start of the raid, I was getting some really good pulls and almost always got 2-3 trust moogles with every 10k or so coins I used.

This morning I used 25k coins having saved up a bit because I didn't have a pressing need to use them. In those pulls, I got a whole ONE trust moogle (Resentment, appropriately) and FOURTEEN Adams. Yes... FOURTEEN.

That is some serious bullshit rates right there.

Will go for both Wind and Water Veritas. Water's enhancements are good and her TM is solid. Wind's TM is necessary for Aileen.

I think there's another Spear enhancing TM out there from a 5* character too. So, more to save for in the future.

Rain, Lasswell, Fina, Lid, Nichol, Jake, Sakura the only story characters we get? Are there more introduced in later or in season 2.

Same. Wind Veritas and done. I was thinking of farming 3 or 4 as I have 3 Rebertas and 4 Aileens but I know I'll eventually obtain more Wind Veritas off banner so one is enough for me.

Unlikely given every other Sworn Six's Pride is unstackable in GL.

Especially on non-limited banners.

I'll pick all these up down the line, I'm sure.

Yup. After this Nier banner I refuse to pull until Ayaka. I'm sure I'll get Wind + Water down the road off banner. I do want a few Winds eventually for the TMs though, I have a few good spear using units.

Yup. I'm with Pejo here. Maybe I'll do a daily, but eh. First Veritas banner broke me. Never again. Plus, I don't want to pull "just" for TMs anymore...

You actually make a pretty valid point. I might just wait and see how the rates are and decide if I am going to do a couple of pulls. A2 has taken over for Aileen for me at the moment anyway so I don't really need any Spear mastery until she gets enhancements. It's sad even though I got everything from the Nier banner it has totally changed how I view this game and pulling in it. (So has playing JPN obviously) I am still not chasing any 5* until Ayaka unless they pull a Gumi and give us a limited unit in the meantime. I also feel I am about to lose a lot of interest in it with the massive amount of games coming out in the next few months.

My daily pull today. I'm F2P and this is my second one I've pulled so I'm feeling pretty damn lucky. My 5* base to date are DV 2x, Tidus(Guaranteed anniversary pull), Olive, and Dark Knight Cecil(got deathbringer TM too already via moogles).

Time to Dark chain my life away.

Definitely. I don't even need any of these chumps. I'll have 8 months to pull WV off banner before her enhancements. No pulling until it's 3 (%) o'clock!

100% not pulling until at least Ayaka (unless they release some insane limited character). Double gold and rainbow banners with these awful rates is going to drive people away

I salute and respect everyone's restraint here, and I wish you all the best, but I'm going to make a hot prediction (the predictive version of a hot take) and say that a number of you, assuming you go through with pull celibacy, will lose a great deal of interest in this game if not quit entirely.

A great deal of the game's engagement is centered around pulls. You could credibly say the majority.

- Gain lapis from dailies/login bonuses/one-off events to make pulls
- Gain tickets from dailies/login bonuses/one-off events/bundles to make pulls
- Pull new units to do new things, or old things better, or differently, or with a cooler sprite
- Engage with other players about the pulls you've made, whether bad or good
- Look forward to (Mog King for tickets | Story expansion for that large lapis infusion to reach a 5k breakpoint)
- Look forward to the news each week to see what banner is coming up, because you want to pull something

You're going to not pull anything for ~two months (Ayaka... maybe? Schedule's topsy-turvy) or four months or six months or whenever the hell 3% rainbows come out? I love FFBE, but the game isn't engaging enough without that central mechanic. And every banner that comes and goes, you're going to get more and more dissatisfied that 3% rainbow change hasn't come yet. Week after week, watching the people who do pull show off their shiny new toys in the thread.

None of this applies to people who mean they're just going to ease their foot off the gas, but still do dailies or random tickets here and there. But no pulls.. at all.. until who knows when?

Sounds like a positively woeful way to play the game to me, but different strokes.

Rainbow change will probably happen in October - November. We got the normalization and Grantee 5* sooner than JP. So we'll probably get this as well.

I do think Gumi needs to trend a bit more generous for a bit too after the massive upheaval of the Nier Banner.

I will still do dailies sometimes on banners that are worth it. If I have an itch to pull I will just pull on my JPN account or do some rerolls.

Also as stated I already predict my interest in the game is going to go down quite a bit in the next few months. Way too many games for PS4/Switch coming out, and I am getting an X1X to finally get into some X1 games this gen. Hopefully it's not enough loss of interest to quit though, I don't want that.

Yep, gotta be determined for that, been 5 months now that I stopped pulling, well of course I did spend lapis on guaranted 5* or 3 4* tickets for must have Rikku and 9S, but I'm still having tons of fun planing and doing hard event (lol) with my team of "limited/old" units.
Honesly people just should play how they want, I personally know I will be playing this game still in 12 months so I want the best chances to get good stuff, and with every events being super easy nowadays I don't feel the need to pull.

If we follow JP schedule then I will use everything I have until I get CG Sakura.

Quick edit : forget Mistair is pretty much must have too, so next step is Mistair then!
