Literally my first rare summon in like a month was this free one here. WTF.
Ok. I'm not very lucky. I am now convinced that the rainbow rate in this game is not a flat percent or anything, but probably has some factors built into it that we aren't aware of.
I wouldn't be surprised at all that MAYBE just MAYBE they increase rates for long-time returning players or players who haven't rare summoned in a long time or SOMETHING.

I decided to use a ticket and got a Gold...my first Desch...after the event has ended, thanks for that.
My ELT team seems to be fine now and takes two turns to kill once he's vulnerable to physical attacks, so will be sticking with that. He's still a pain in the ass though with the randomness.

Flame Veritas just hit for 8 million. Against ELT raid.
Fixed Dice + 120% Soleil buff + Element and Def debuff + Full Stomp after a chain.
He has barette + maneater materia for 2 killers each of demon and human (thanks Diabolos).
This madman did that with 490 ATK on the stat screen.
I should probably grind out my three Setzers for dice and level my Flame Veritas to 6*.......
I had another run a little while ago where the total was 11 million. Yeah it's pretty nutty. I don't even have BiS TMRs for him yet. Just average stuff.
Didn't realise Fixed Dice is that powerful, should really get one sometime! Think I'll still stick to what works for me for now, which is a Divine Ruination chain.

So my game isn't working on my home wifi at all since yesterday. Tried everything known to man to fix it and nothing is working. Works off wifi and with VPNs but I'm not dealing with that so coupled with all the other stuff I think it's my time to move on. So with that. So long and thanks for all the fish!

I'm trying to figure out how to consistently chain two orlandeus and/or dark veritas with 9S TMR but can't get for some reason. Anyone know the trick? If I tap all 3 in a row really fast I sometimes can get the chain up to 40.
Not sure If the lag is messing it up.

Totally, Ayaka is my next chase. I really think Gumi needs to look at this situation and do something fresh. QOL updates, or some GL exclusive banners. Some new GE units would really get me interested again I think. These past few events are just a slog. FF11 has no real meaning for me personally so I think that's another issue. I'm hoping fan festa will be a fun event and reignite some of the passion. And they announce some much needed changes. It just feels like they're more silent than usual yet the game is losing steam.

Yeah I have to imagine the greater player community is shrinking too. With only one refresh via rank-up I'm in the top 1k raid ranking. That never happens. Maybe Gumi are ok churning through players at some average rate but I doubt it. With Hippo and Val alone they've lost thousands of dollars

You know. Everyone of you is right. These stupid ass weak event's wont help situation at all. I stopped doing tm farming (cause I was doing it with phone). Decided I save my phone rather than burn it with constant charging.
BUT.
I try to find some fun from this event. NRG goes to Gem Vortex (because why not).
Raid I have some stupid target and enjoying myself for doing as much damage as possible
.Slapped killer materias to FV (atk is 476 or something). In this fight it did +8.9m damage
Next target to get perfect chain and break 12m.
