Hey Celegus how many tickets and lapis are you sitting on?
Not as many as Kourio, that's for sure. Like 22k lapis and 160 tickets last I looked. And they're STAYING THERE. NieR hit me pretty hard but at least got 3 9S out of it.
Those 2 10+1's we just got too, and whatever EX tickets. I haven't been using lapis for TMs lately because there's not that many pressing ones currently.

Found my old post when I started hoarding (25/02) :
I used 5k on Orlandeau and 5k on guaranted 5 star since + 3 4* tickets for Rikku and 9S (and got Victoria in the process)
Now my stack is :
- 65,325 Lapis
- 1 4* ticket
- 271 tickets
- 2 4* EX tickets
- 17 EX tickets
- 5 10+1 tickets
By the way, robsan is still playing despite being permabanned
After I wasted 5k Lapis and 43 tickets for Randi (and failed), I feel a bit better since I got 23 tickets back and about 5k Lapis.
It's going to be hard but I'll probably skip Orlandu banner, at least we're getting free FF XIV characters soon enough to compensate

I'm aiming to get back above 50k so I can have two banner's worth for the step-up whenever I want. Hacker dicked me over on the 5k otherwise I would be further along. No lapis pulls until I at least get that high up again. I want to stay above 100 tickets but I'll start spending those on something worthwhile. The 10+1 and EX tickets are all waiting for the 3% change.

[JP] Well, have 65% in Trust Moogles for the other Star Ocean persons fist weapon. Too bad I cannot get her to at least work on it. I ended up using last bit of tickets to try. No luck. Used a 5k lapis pull... got lucky and got a Rainbow in last slot. CG Lid. Whelp.
To be honest, I've had amazing luck in JP. It's been really fun. I've enjoyed this Raid so far too. Which is great because GL hasn't been that hot. But you know what I realized? I really do have good luck. Not sure if I'm missing anything in this list, but these are the 5*'s I have gotten since I started a while ago:

They weren't as bad when I first got in. I mean.. of course I also didn't know they were trolls until well after really going into it. The thought of them makes me cry now, but at same time they were my powerhouses that helped me early on, so I can't be too mad.

Second Gacha pull ever: Rainbow -> Kuja
My husband was like "Holy crap!!" I just felt like hot shit getting something he was jealous about. They really helped me hardcore get started into the game. They ended up falling by the wayside, but they made the game easier for me. Pulled them back-to-back at start.

I have about 20K lapiz in total but it's split 14K on my iphone and 6k on Nox which is great bc thats where the 5K went to for farming.
I used to hoard and blew my load when Orlandeau officially came out and missed and decided to quit after that.
Came back after 4 months and got him 2 weeks later at random as my 3rd rainbow. So now that I have pretty much da best of da best I honestly dont really care to hoard for shit.
Cid is one of my favorite characters of all time so I'm coolin unless like Riku somehow pops up in the game or ofc Squall

I'll always feel a bit embarrassed about it. One of my first pulls was a rainbow Chizuru when the game just started. I didn't know what that meant or how good she was so I ignored her for weeks in favor of Lasswell, who had a similar skillset and equipment. Other than that and a Ramza I only got banner rainbows so I was lucky.

Rikku? She's in game.
By all accounts, the most game changing units have always been healers.
Leanna -> Refia -> Tilith -> Ayaka
Never would be support with Full Break -> Ling -> Rikku
They come at a much slower rather than damage, alongside allowing you to survive.

I'm not saying don't pull for her, just wait a week first. Cagnazzo could be an early Mystair, or Barbariccia could be the dawn of the mage meta come early. Do your dailies or whatever, just hold off on those dozens of tickets/multipulls. We get so very few chances to break away from the JP meta and this is one of them.

Hi all, still around but been busy with work and other things as usual. Ive just bought my first house though so thats exciting. In-game Ive been mainly using up Raid coins, Arena Orbs and using NRG on the Maze. Still need that latest summon...:/
Enjoying seeing all the 10+1 pulls! But as were showing what we have hoarded up, heres mine:
Lapis: around 8k spread over 3 devices (I didnt get that 5k extra)
Rare Ticket Summons: 192
4* Guarenteed Tickets: 5
EX Tickets: 25
10+1 Tickets: 5
(I really want Cloud...)
I havent experimented too much in the ELT Raid but been keeping it safe with what works for me since the start, which is Warrior of Light, Rikku, Tilith, Noctis and two Orlandeaus. Ended up selling the coins after crafting everything that was new. Up to 4.3 mil...how have some got nearly 15mil here!? :/ just selling from the get go plus some serious damage on the boss? Just get wiped if I dont have Rikku and Tilith

Outside of the game Ive been getting through my backlog, currently playing Metroid Prime 2, which Im really enjoying (playing the Trilogy on the WiiU VC).

Have a Fry and 2B. Been working on Fry tmr's for months. Pretty much hoarded everything for months until Nier and got 2B on my last lapis pull. 60k lapis 90 tickets for that event.

True, but how are you going to add a tick/unit to that list by pulling on stuff like the FFXI banner?
Well my 5 stars are Fohlen/Lightning/Noctis/Emperor/2x Ramza, with Fohlen and Emperor on guaranted 5* and February free 11 pulls respectively.
Fohlen is too weak because of his limited equips, Emperor will finally get some nice enhancements in 2 weeks and let's not talk about Lightning.
Currently my Agrias is stronger than Noctis which is crazy (Noctis buff pls), guess I got lucky with Tilith at her first banner last year (took 40 pulls)

None of those (available) units are rated *down* on any banner. And every event only adds to the pool and dilutes every next pull. There is zero incentive to save for players who don't already have a top chainer.
Now if some person with a Frey and an Orlandeau wants to complain because they lost everything on the Nier banner? I'll make fun of that. But I'm not having this suggestion that waiting is a better bet.

Yes there is, save for banners that have the top chainers. If you lack a specific character's role for your team, you save for a banner that covers that.
If you don't pull what you want, tough luck. Keep going and wait for the next opportunity.
Who is DV and VF?
As far as I can tell I have none of these units but my stash isn't that amazing plus I have Tidus, Rikku and Noctis so I'm happy.
I fused 2 fryevia when I wasn't following the OT a little while back, only realising my mistake when I went to check character rankings.

I suppose, but wouldn't waiting for another banner with a chainer be better? The "best" ones are released already but I'd posit that's because the later ones don't have enhancements yet. Nyx is coming soon and he looks good (global even includes his TM by default). Wifelandu Beatrix is eventually coming too. They may be less popular picks but I think I would prefer my chances of getting them over an off-banner Tidus or whoever.
There is always people like me who use their lapis as soon as i got them but somehow don't have any of that unit. Also don't have Tidus or Aileen or even Fohlen. No 5* base chainer. Play since July 2016.

Im a big believer in spending tickets and lapis as you get em. I feel like building a horde removes my greatest joy in the game (the pulls), and the law of averages works in favor of both hording and throwing in with tickets as they come in. I have much more enjoyment from the latter, so I go that route.
And I have a fine collection of rainbows for a minnow player, including Fry and double A2s from that list and almost every one of them has come from random pulls.
Right now I have 11,650 lapis, but thats mostly from the free 5k. I have the two 10+1 tickets, but Ill use them on the Ayaka banner. And thats it. No other regular or Ex tickets.
And I have a fine collection of rainbows for a minnow player, including Fry and double A2s from that list and almost every one of them has come from random pulls.

I hear you, I do. Syntsui too. But none of this answers the problem of the ever expanding and diluted pool, which is easy to ignore when you already have the necessary units.
Were you lucky enough to pull 9s at least? My team doesn't chain at all together but pods helped me out a lot.
