Man, I am so lost with what's going on in the game right now. I think I'm 2 updates behind in story, this event confuses the hell out of me, apparently there's moogle quest stuff now, and the end of the Keys questline.

Only problem is, I still can't get past this black screen.

Anyone know of a fix for this yet? I uninstall/reinstall but it only works for a single login, which usually is ended by a crash.

I'm definitely getting the Mace. 85 Mag with +magic killers for Aquan is great. Magic Killers are few and far between, most Mages can use Maces, and Aquans are actually a fairly common boss type.

I think it's a huge mistake to skip it.

Yeah, I'm begrudgingly grinding just for that. I hate this event but I don't like missing out on decent event equips, even if they are niche.

I'm actually enjoying this event, :O.

I generally hate running big explorations, so I never farmed Megas. Here, I've been getting tons from speedruns of the ELT. Super quick and easy 1k currency and 750 rank exp with a bunch of MCs.
- Unit w/ Escape materia runs from all non-Mermaid battles.
- Keep going in and out of the same door, unless a collection point is in sight, until the Mermaid room.
- 1-turn Ariel, grab the 2 points.
- Grab the two points in the exit room and leave.

It's more engaging than just spending another week TM farming, if nothing else. 6 runs and I'm out of energy for 13 hours. I just wish there was more stuff to spend the currency on.

So, my black screen experience is consistently doing the following, I boot up the app, get black screen. Close out app, reboot it , and it works the second time. No clue why , but it's like this 100% of the time I've tried it.

I'm currently working through the quest lines today, trying to finish the key quests myself.

I don't mind it at all honestly. The three minute limit can be somewhat annoying everyone now and then, but overall it isn't **that** bad.

At least it's something different.

And it will be gone in a few days, so there's that as well.

Might want to run it once for the lapis before it gets "corrected" for a few months, much like how Cactaur Dunes and Gil Snappers PRO did.

Double heads up, if it's still there on the server reset, someone on Reddit is claiming that there is a Chamber of Riches PRO up as well. Can't verify that, as I'm not giving back the 100 free lapis I just claimed to open up another chamber, lol.

No Creation PRO yet, though, per Reddit.

This update has been fantastic. Of course had quite a few bugs when everything went live but all seems good now.
Event is crazy easy and good. Ran elite quite a few times now. Instead of running to another exit, just go back through the one you just came through. Repeat till you get to the full bamboo area with the statue. Get the 2 nodes there, beat the mermaid and then just wander around for the other 6 nodes.
I mean who cares it its timed. Afaik it's not like you lose anything if you run out of time(as far as I've read)
With 2 encounters (mac I've ever fought), the boss and all the nodes you get like 1700+ lanterns. Not to mention all the other stuff, all for 2 min of your time and you get 750 rank XP. This event is a joke easy.

Well, not really. Fina is a good pull (even though I already have Ayaka) and I spent everything for her on her original banner so this is a saving grace. But a dupe Jake... I guess I should just pretend he wasn't a rainbow T_T

Ive been doing 1/2 price dalies trying to grab him, as my only 5* chainer is Aileen. (Have lots of 4* chainers though, including enhanced Agrias.)

So far have gotten 2 (more) Exdeaths and a 3rd Victoria whom Im debating on whether or not to level. I already have 2 Vickys max leveled and potted and cant really see the use for a 3rd...

I usually only max level 2 of each of the good units I have; except for Setzer, I leveled 4 of him.

Apparently if you let the time run out, collection nodes won't spawn the next time you run the event (on the same difficulty, I believe). Anecdotally I can say this is true, but once I found out that's how it (possibly) works, I haven't let the timer run out since. Whether it's a bug or not, I can't say.

Probably best to err on the side of caution.

What unit do you all use the Adventurer materia on? DMG Dealer, Tank, Support, or Healer?

Right now Im using it on my tank WoL, while Im farming Patriotic Recalls.

But Im thinking that once I get up to Adventurer V, Ill probably use it on my DMG Dealer, for that +40% ATK, and then buff the other stats as a bonus.

I think the event is pretty fun actually. All the bugs (missions not counting, unable to go through doors, etc) are a bummer but it's a neat idea and definitely different than anything else. Too bad the rewards are fairly mundane, just gonna grab that mace and be done.

Yeah I really like that it buffs DEF and SPR. I guess Ill keep it on my Tank until I pull a hybrid damage unit.

I dont really count Nocits' flasks. They do enough damage as is and Im farming a Power of Creation to boost his MAG and ATK anyway.

Every 1000 FP you spend you pull a random TM Moogle. (5% specific unit Moogle)
Just spent the 50k I have to do a 10 pull each time (can do a max of 10k FP at a time, for the 10 consecutive pulls). Swimming in Moogles. Nothing amazing, but I'll take it.

Went with Chiz instead of Noctis for TM. Just because she helps my Old Man out damage wise. I can still worry about Noctis Ring once we get his updates and i have more Dual Wield TM.

With Katana Mastery Old Man is my top damage dealer so i put him up instead of DV. I prefer DV as a unit but the damage difference is around 100 atk stats so i cant really justify it. If i ever get a Top Tier dark weapon like Dark Cecils TM DV will be able to shine.

Current TM team on my new main, yeah this will take a while but it will be worth it ...L&A for Ashe and Aqua Blade for Noctis or whoever needs Dual Wield.

yes in all honesty, after Ayaka, there is not really new unit with meta-defining character.
Cloud is just for hype machine.

At least until CG Sakura.

But it is hard to justify pulling when 3% rainbow is so close.
