It's turn-based combat.
Why would 60fps matter?
The animations would look better and the menus would be a little more responsive. Not essential, but it would be nice.

Good news, it's still great.
Literally everything benefits from 60fps.This is hardly a game that would benefit from 60fps. It's a port of 15 year old code

Great news for PC gamers.
Will only be interested if it hits 60fps. I've got it on Vita but will invest in a PC version for that buttery smoothness. Don't remember if PS4 is 60fps...

Nope. PC exclusive.Does the ps4 version have this?

Will buy if I can play it at 60 FPS.
I'm sure it will. The logic isn't tied to FPS, you can emulate it in 60.
Unless game logic is tied to frame rate, I don't see why it wouldn't benefit from 60fps...
Why have I not played this game yet? Every single system it's been released on, I own.
does the PS4 version have the game boosters? really makes replaying these games much better.
Would it be fair to say that an eventual Steam port of FFXV is virtually inevitable now, given how hard SE has pivoted towards the PC?
K, so I'm a "traditional" FF lover and haven't bought anything beyond FF9... will I love FFX? I remember when it initially released I got some girl power vibes(can't remember why) which irked me so I kinda shied away... but I may be willing to take the plunge when X hits PC depending on impressions.

I got the ps3 version. Didn't open it. Didn't get the PS4 version though. Will get it on a steep discount for PC. Maybe try to sell my PS3 version haha?Anyone else buy the PS3?
Didn't play it.
Buy the PS4 version afterwards?
Didn't play it.
And plan to buy this one?

I might be wrong, but I think it's a case where the framerate is locked to the animation, so speeding up the frame-rate would also speed up the animation.

Good news,I hope this leads to XII coming too.
day fucking 1 baby...while i understand many people didnt want to deal or play with 13, lets show suport if this is a good port so we can get 15 on pc!
yes?
anybody?
.....
no?...
oh....
Can I skip cutscenes? Please tell me I can skip cutscenes.
I bought this on ps4 not long ago but would buy it again NP if I could skip those incredibly long winded cutscenes.
Now that I think about it, I'm a little worried about the port. Square has generally been improving with their ports, but this is an older one that they've been sitting on...
I wonder who made it.

What's the catch. These Square ports always have a catch. Thus I don't bother buying them.
Game releases in 3 days and there is no price listed or pre-order discount evident.
While It might be too much to ask if this was $20 because of the other FF games priced around that, but because this is two games in a bundle instead of them individually sold for $15 a piece, I wouldn't be surprised if Square tries to sell this for $30 on it's own. While $25 might seem more fair since the Physical versions of the game on PS3 and PS4 can be easily gotten for $20.
