Okay, thanks. Then I'll teleport them to the beginning of Tidus' path.
If you're teleporting, teleport to the end and go backwards. That was you get better stat boosts and Quick Hit right away.

Just started FFX2HD and a quick question: there's a lengthy ass tutorial for monster catching but that's never been a thing that has interested me before. I just want to play the game without this stuff, i don't care to 100% it, just want to beat it. Is this stuff really necessary?
It's not. I near entirely ignored it. You do have to do a little tiny bit to get the Psychic dressphere and there's a trophy tied to completing one fiend's "Fiend Tale" iirc.
Cool. Yeah, i don't care about trophies but depending on how good that dressphere is i might dip my toes into it. Thanks!
Taking a break from lightning dodging at the moment and filling in everyone's sphere grid. Oh man, it's the most repetitive task in the world.
Done with Waka's Ultimate Weapon garbage. I never want to play Blitzball again.
I just beat Seymour Natus in FFX, how far am I in the game?

(No time for Iucytyr till like 1/3 through September )
PSN is worthless!Complaining on GAF never fails.
So I never played Final Fantasy game before.... I recently got into Persona 4 which is amazing (gameplay and story), the only other JRPG I play is the Pokemon series lol! Is it worth picking up this collection for the Vita? and is it easy to get into gameplay wise?
FFX platinum get! I can finally take a break.
So is it easier to get platinum with FFX-2?
The first blitzball game is singlehandedly making me want to quit this game.
You don't need to win, so don't worry about it!

Yeah but that +4 Strength sphere is super handy that early in the game.
Put it on Auron's grid and have Tidus briefly go down to get it too (Expert Grid), and you'll be overkilling everything for the rest of the game. Bonus XP!
I'm looking forward to the next time I play this in a couple of years or whatever and fighting the final boss with more appropriate stats. As fun as it was to obliterate the dude, made it rather anti-climactic.
Kimahri, too.
Then add the three Strength Spheres from the Thunder Plains.
WHERE?!
Dodge 50 lighting bolts!
Oh, I haven't done that yet.
I'm going to head back when I have a No Encounters weapon/armour.
Oh my god, trying to get Sun Sigil is so frustrating.
