I see, I can't match that to my US account. You can pass that on to another lucky soul. Thanks anyway though!!Ah, I forget to mention. They're EU codes.
On that note anyone have any spare US codes for PS3?

Pros:
- It has a good way of presenting the story (cut-scenes, etc).
- The combat is varied (keep dots up, use an ability to buff other abilities for x amount of seconds, use other abilities that benefit from the buff ability).
- The graphics look superb!
- Questing with a group does not give you a penalty. You still get good experience by questing with people.
Cons:
- The UI is a pain to setup, and there are not enough options for you to truly customize it to your liking.
- The map is very difficult to navigate. It is a pain to find out where to go next.
- Quests are varied, but the variation is only limited (only reached level 30) to picking up items, using items on objects, and killing x number of monsters.
Overall, I think this game is pretty good. The only problem I have with this game is that I don't know if there will be good end-game content. I have done group dungeon(s), and they were very simple. My recommendation is to hold out until you get feedback from the end-game players.
Look above you.Ok I'm looking at that Facebook page but how do I get the code....
Want a ps3 eu code so bad
me¡Alright guys I still got a US PC code up for grabs. First one to quote this post gets it.

I honestly didn't have much issue with the map. Maybe I'm just used to it from playing since the Alpha and 1.0 but, aside from icons overlapping at certain zoom levels and the red objectve ares being a bit too pale to be extremely noticeable, I didn't have any issue finding anything.I made a small review on my teams forums earlier in the week, and I am curious to know what others think of the pros and the cons that I listed.
holy shit man, you did all these?
does this mean you can use steam overlay for arr beta?
just do the add non-steam games to my library thing?

I sort of agree about the map. It was kind of a pain initially but when I managed to figure it out I didn't have many problems with it. I guess the main issue is if you choose for a quest to appear on the map, it's almost useless if you're not in that zone / don't know how to get there. They could have a 'waypoint' on the map / compass showing you what exits to take to get from your zone to the next, and when you're in the proper zone place the spot exactly on the map as it does currently.
Got my beta code registered. I'm assuming I'll be able to download the client once the beta comes back up?

You should be able to download it now
When I go to my account management and select Final Fantasy XIV there are no options to download anything![]()
No joke. This weekend, I'm really ready to roll. Got me one of these puppies for $28 on Amazon...Is it Friday yet? D:
You have to go to the forums.
The map gives you god damn glowing red spots for every single objective that shows you eggsactly where to go next. I don't know how they could make it any easier unless they put a giant red arrow above your head that pointed the direction as well.

Beats using the shitty on-screen keyboard or having an actual keyboard in my lap.

I'm hoping some people will be down for some party stuff. I'm not in the LS yet, were people teaming up last week?
anybody here using that thing? i was always curious about how well it works.
I have one and frankly hated it. The light does not illuminate at night and the buttons are rather small, I have larger hands with somewhat slender fingers.
i always play in a well-lit room and i think my hands are pretty average. i'd like to try it but nobody seems to have it in my area. is it heavy?
If the quest you are on is in a different area than you are in, good luck finding it on the map. Sometimes I even had problems reading the map for areas I was in, and sometimes new quests overlapped current quest objectives, making them hard to see.
He means that Legacy characters won't be able to transfer before 6 months (Q1-Q2 2014). Basically, he wants new servers to 'catch up' with Legacy servers and establish their own economy before allowing transfers.
Welcome. And what I derived from that Nova Crystallis interview question was that Legacy players wouldn't be able to transfer off Legacy servers to Regular servers for at least 6 (Or maybe sooner, as he noted) months.
