This reminds me, wasn't there going to be a playable Triple Triad type game, within FFXIV, at some point?
I think the devs were messing with the models again, I'm pretty sure thats Odins horse.

the big reason I got digital CE is because the behemoth Chocobo gear looks so good. But that Odin's horse destroies that lol.

So far all I've seen is that legacy characters will more then likely have to wait until release day to be re-customized.
Coeurl mount for me, though I've gotta admit, Odins horse would beat that by a mile, in terms of epicness! XD
Doubt it'll be an in game mount, since a ton of people running around with Odins horse wouldn't make sense. If it were though, well, suffice to say I think they'd make people REALLY work for it! XD

I have to admit, I had 0 interest in Coeurl mount until I saw the producer letter live where YoshiP was riding it. It looked really good.

Yes, well, the irony factor of one cat riding on another cat, is simply too great for me to ignore. XD
Think I'll pick one of the servers that has where everyone starts fresh, seems like the best experience.
Also, does Open Beta mean you can make characters on the fresh server? Or just play on previous servers with your old character? Seems like it'd be kind of weird to have a fresh server with people playing the game really early before release date.

Okay, since you're bringing it up.
An artist I know (not super well, but I know him,) created a FFXI web-comic/doujin awhile ago. I haven't actually finished reading it yet, but he's the same guy that writes and draws Gold Digger. If you're familiar with that, you'll know that its good by default.
Also, full of cheesecake, nothing scandalous so far, just a fair warning. Fred Perry may be an industry pro, but its obvious he loves drawing dem Mithra ladies.

He comprehended it perfectly. His insinuation, which is correct, is that Lalafells aren't the best race.
Been a back and forth thing, going on for awhile on and off. Mostly just people funnin. XD
I don't think he did because there's a Lalafell riding Sleiipnir, not some other lesser-born.

The free trial was the beta, phase 4 is coming up soon, don't know if you still can get in, as registration page is closed. You get an early access code when u preorder too

You can use the controller (urgh).
It also supports wired/wireless keyboards.
No idea on voice.

I recommend the TeamSpeak smartphone app. I really can't think of any other alternative for dealing with voice.

And my catman. I made a character for every race there is now. Still think I'll be going with my Highlander.
The benchmark makes my graphics card go hot, like 85 degrees. Haven't un-dusted it in a while, I think it's time to do so. Hope I won't have any issues with phase 4.
