Does anyone know of a good endgame gear progression guide?

Right now I have full AF with an ilvl 55 green crafted weapon. Figuring out where to go from here is proving to be quite confusing.. Should I get the Darklight weapon from Wanderer's Palace? Or since I've already beaten Ampador's Keep should I get the ilvl 55 Grand Company weapon? Or should I skip right on to trying my hand at an Ifrit HM weapon?

I'm ultimately working towards my Relic weapon but I'm not quite sure on the best way to get there.

Of course, when I do form the party for this, GAFers are going to get priority.

So yeah. I've run my PC with 3-4 virus/malware finding software and haven't found anything of substance except a couple of trackers.

Sigh. Who knows how long SE are going to take to get back to me. Am I the only one who's been hacked or wrongly banned?

Do you use the One Password app on iOS/android or do you use the key fob? Have you used your combination of username/password before on other sites/games? Its possible that if you have and dont have the one password feature enabled, your username/password combo could be up online in a shady database somewhere and your account was compromised that way

In general. I mean, you'll run AK for your 300 myth tomes each week, and in the process you'll most likely happen across pieces of the AK gear. But you'll be wanting to get into full darklight as a priority. Then you'll be spending your myth tomes on AF+1 when you have enough.

Start running AK to get 300 myth a week. You should be able to fill yourself out on AK gear pretty fast.

I don't really like the spell speed on AF+1 so I am personally going for Allagan. I think the upgrade from relic to relic+1 is a moderate one so it might be worth it to jump to the chest instead. Survivability in Coil for me hasn't been an issue up through Turn 4, though this is really where it gets tough.

The times I have died in Coil have occurred when a wipe is already occurring.

Really not a fan of the armour from AK for mages. Looks so boring. Why couldn't that stuff look like the Battle mage or acolyte set? At least then it wouldn't visually looks like such a downgrade from awesome AF armour. Can't wait for vanity slots. At least until I get full AF+1.

You are @65% completion, getting to an awesome Primal Fight in 3 levels, better get ready for it!

Try to be 2+ levels ahead of your Main Storyline, cause they jump quickly

41 > 42 > 43 > 44 > 46 > 49 > 50

So yeah Main Quest will start not giving you enough XP to level up off them, so its better to fate grind 2-3 levels past your Main Storyline

Cause there's no level 45, 47, 48 quests given in Main and only a few side quests
So it's better to be overleveled than underleveled just trying to catch up to story marker

That's incredibly unlucky. Are you losing constant lots by running with other groups or have you not seen them? The piece I was missing forever was the belt so I eventually just purchased the darklight belt.

I don't think I've run AK a lot compared to others but b/c I run it with people that have the gear or don't want it I have completed most of my AK sets. Missing a piece here and there.

Gotcha. I have started to focus more on my hunting log as well but that's almost completed and I'm at a point where I need to head into a dungeon to finish up one set. Fate grinding can be such a zerg fest though. I'd rather grind leves at times as a result.

The chest piece was definitely the more annoying of the DL pieces to get but I gutted it out. At least we aren't capped in getting tomes of philosophy and can just grind that out in CM.

Hmmm... I'm still torn. Healing output improving would be nice for Coils for sure.

Honestly, I'm just kind of sick of this cowl, lol. And my group just got to Turn 4 (where healing body can drop), so I don't think we'll get it soon. Not sure...

Can get body later, it isn't a huge necessity, at least most coil runs I've seen peeps in DL gear or crafted Darksteel Gear

Also if you get body, what are you going to do for head piece?

With Relic+1 you'll have the best weapon possible out there for your class hands down
The gear isn't a big upgrade say from AF to DL cause things can be replaced in between, weapons not so much

It's in the south of the desert, right in the middle where a camp is set up

The guy asks you to go look for his friend

You will have to travel to different locations and just ask it to return, that's all, it's a fetch quest, stretched out to different places

If I remember correctly it was Outer La Noscea (Hot Springs), Central Shroud (Something Haven, you have to climb up the tree, it's where the flying things are, you have to go that small attached land to the side (rock bridge) then climb to the top) then Central Thanalan (could be North) if I remember correctly

As much as I like the GAF FC, it's kinda unfortunate that there are so many people at the endgame already (or at the least, the people at other parts of the game never really talk in the FC chat). I say this just because I'm finding that more and more people are rage-quitting these later dungeons. I could barely even run Stone Vigil for a good bow because someone somewhere would always quit out after wiping once or twice on a boss AOE. And DPS queues for Darkhold and Aurum Vale are so terrible in duty finder. I'm honestly tempted to just Fate grind to 50 and get the story out of the way, because apparently endgame is where all the action is these days.

People are willing to help, I got a full GAF party for Satasha the other night. I know some of the folks in my party were in the 40's too.

It seems like at the end of last week players on non-legacy servers with over 8 million gil were being banned pre-emptively and then having their transaction history combed over to make sure they didn't buy gil. Yeah i'm always up for tanking anything around my level or way under, and i've never really found a shortage of help for lower level stuff i'm doing.

This has nothing to do with clicking on bad links or not using authenticators - these are people who were suspended simply because they had more than a certain amount of gil on their character. I'd be pretty furious if I was one of those players and then got told by the customer support rep that they can't actually do their job and reimburse lost game time because they don't have that power.

Got to 16 last night. Can't believe how much I'm enjoying this game. I really like the way the zones don't feel like they're artificially passing you along. You know, like how in WoW it's like "Oh, you're 20 now? Go to Dustwallow Marsh."

Also, finally starting to get armour that I think looks pretty cool.

If it keeps on giving, and given the upgrade to the PS4 version, I'll probably skip The Elder Scrolls Online and stick with this. Not bad for a drunken 2am purchase.

There is one for Android and I've been using it since launch. Just make sure you save the code you get from SE after registering the device in the case that the token resets itself so you can disconnect it from your account.

And it's ridiculous to me that SE isn't in the game insta banning the RMT. I would love an answer as to why they don't do this. Not in the TOS yet? Edit the damn TOS to state that any advertising is a banable offense.

After FATE grinding my lancer to LV 34 for 3 straight days I feel so sick of it now. It is boring as hell. Now I switch back to my bard and level my character through quests, hunting log, levequests, dungeons etc. It's much more enjoyable than mindlessly farming FATE over and over.
