Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae 2.0 |OT| This is a fantasy based on feedback.

In new scenes he sounds differently. I went off with just Gladio and they both have new dialogue and he sounds differently. The weird thing is the camping scenes are not voices you can see they are moving their lips but they don't say anything.

Ah, appreciated; watching KHI right now, some fine new animations here and there. I can't quite see new visual improvements though since Twitch streams are always so ugly..

Blame SE for releasing this during the work day!

Maybe they want to push people's productivity so they can get home faster and play it

Jump lance attack motion seems changed? or was it always like this?

Are you using Virtuadub to get the image sequence?

I just use share feature from PS4 to get the video, and make gif with instagiffer

Combat is faster. I was able to charge an attack to deal more damage, and the camera is way fast.
Couldn't get the lake monsters to fight me lol.

I'm at work right now. (No FFXV demo in the breakroom even though we have a PS4)

How is the performance in 2.0. Has there been any improvement there?

Downloading now. I'll probably still stick to Japanese voices if they allow me in the final version, but will be checking out the English voice "change" of Noctis for myself. To the people who think it's different, what is it comparable to now?

No they definitely said that at one point; they want to have a smaller tech demo available for people who couldn't get Duscae. Hasn't been mentioned in a while though

Holy shit, I didn't expect the game to get so many changes. I figured it was going to just get pushed out with a deal with it attitude and a "international" release a year or two later.

no more stupid green particles when you auto-dodge (it now has same blue particles as the warp, and is a lot less excessive)

damn, with all these changes I really want to try it out, but I am stuck in Geneva until Sunday.... WHY!

Now that they added a manual dodge roll I think they should probably make the guard stance harder to use. I wouldnt mind it using more MP but I think parrying in particular should work differently. I'd like it if they removed the button prompt and put more of an emphasis on timing.

They sorta did.

Press L1 as just before getting hit for no MP cost.

The footage from the tech demo video was probably just a test environment, it might not actually be ready for prime time.

Some of the camping footage is in the game but it's oddly not voiced. I don't think anything with food is new though at least I haven't seen anything yet.
