There's a sensible arguement and point you could make like the post that I'm quoting. And then there's that toxic BS that doesn't leave room for reality.
The design in the art work is fine with me just like what we have. Hell I prefer the art work design and think it could have made her character alot cuter or bubbly.
You have your points and while I don't agree with all that you're posting I'm going to bow out of the conversation.
I'm actually playing FFXV and want to talk about the more positives of the game.
Edit: just saw the Gladio question. I take it you didn't notice the manliest that's Gladio in game? That dude poses more then he fights.

And please, show me Shiva's death scene. I mean, you say she's dead.

I just finished the game myself a couple of hours ago. Shortest story in a mainline FF ever.
I'd say the ending "could" have been great for me if I actually cared for the characters involved. It was well made and pretty but in the end I didn't know who Luna was AND their romance was... nonexistent?
The incoming updates will fix it.

How do I get back to open world once I beat the game. My save file is right before the final battle and there's no way back

And she killed Ifrit after the whole party weakened him.
When does Ifrit shows his naked, body, and I mean, when the game focuses the camera, on Ifrit naked body?. You know is not the same.

I can't understand people who are so bothered by any sort of display of sexuality. It'd be problematic if it was actually disrespecting and dehumanizing or insulting but I don't see it happening here. For all I care all the characters in the game could be fully nude. In an ideal society, sexuality and nudity would be completely trivial, true tolerance comes from embracing all facets of human existence.

Cindy, Luna, Arenea, and Gentiana(Shiva) aren't real life people, the developers decided to portray them the way they envision their world. I personally don't have a problem with the way any of them are dressed. Cindy lives in a desert, she's a mechanic, she wears boom boom shorts(and is probably sweaty cuz of heat) and she has a heavy accent. I've seen a plenty of girls dressing like her IRL so I don't personally see the issue.
Just started the post game, is there any way to increase AP income other than just 1 shot mobs with warp strike for 1 AP? Is there an Item that doubles AP?

as for the killnmg ifrit part, its show that even with bahamut, the guys can't kill ifrit. shiva freezing him is the only way to kill him. Them "weakening him" doesn't detract from that.
At the end? Pretty much everyone is dead. Male and female. So why do you only take issues with the females?
And it doesn't matter. She killed Ifrit in the end.

Wearing little clothing in the desert is actually a bad thing, there's a reason people in real life deserts cover up almost completely.

And she's dead because she awakened before the other astrals (a timeline in the guide states this, lame I know but still it's there). And clearly she wasn't actually dead, she simply existed in a smaller body instead of a big one like the other astrals. Titan and Leviathan are also killed by the Empire over the course of the game.

After Ifrit cannot longer defend himself? At no point during the battle does Ifrit shows any sign of "not being able to defend itself". If anything, the battle clearly says the party alone cannot defeat Ifrit. Shiva, a goddess, was needed to put an end to him.
She's not dead during the final battle. Whether she dies at the very end during Noctis' sacrifice is still up in the air.

In a desert, yes, but Hammerhead isn't really a desert. It's much closer to, say, Arizona (in fact I'd go as far as to say it was likely based on Arizona/Nevada).

she literally kills him as he's rushing to attack noct. he is very much still lively and capable of fighting.

And all Shiva has to do is dancing around him. He barely put any resistance...
Levi dies, after Noct goes super saiyan, until that point he was winning. Not before destroying most of Empire airships. Which is more than Shiva can say

First of all that's a stupid as fuck excuse and you're the one who used the "it's hot in the desert and I've seen real girls dress like that" excuse first anyway.
Secondly, XV is explicitly based on reality. I mean for god's sake you have to make sure you pump gas in your car or else it can run out in the middle of the road.

Jared's death is used to push Noctis' to want revenge and invade a Nifflheim base.

Succubus being revealing and erotic is acceptable while Cindy is not. Because there is no reason for Cindy to be like that.
So IMO it makes no sense (at least not to me) to say ALL revealing and erotic designs are bad, offensive, ridiculous etc.

I mean, it seems kind of unclear. While her astral sized body was slain, she's clearly still alive in the form of Gentianna. We don't have the details of how she actually died (how the empire could take down any of the astrals is beyond me anyway but that's whatever), whether she died and somehow revived as Gentianna or simply let them believe she died while she became Gentianna to watch over Luna.

Jared is barely a character. Luna is the main heroine of the game.
And Regis dies on the movie, and neither does have the relevance than Luna's death, in terms of plot device and being a critical motivation for the character.
There's a possible climatic reason and there's the personal choice of the character reason. In a purely logical sense, yes we know she was deliberately designed to be attractive but that's not problematic in itself.
A character being fridged is about their deaths being used to push the protagonist' forward and give then motivations.
I don't care how important Jared was to the plot. His death pushes Noctis forward for revenge. Whether you like it or not.
Noctis gets the news about Regis being killed during the game. This also pushes his story forward.

And you can also use a gun to fight guys with guns. Obviously there are fantastical elements in the game but THE DEVELOPERS THEMSELVES have stated that XV was meant to be a closer to real life game than previous Final Fantasies.

Jared being "fridged" is not real, he wasn't part of the main plot, he's barely there for 2 lines. His death, dosn't have any meaningful impact. Neither does seem Regis death, which Noctis seems to get over quite fast, only death that provokes a huge amount of anguish and a lasting effect is Luna.
It depends, if you are involved in out door activities then you'd wear clothing that covers you up for obvious reasons. If you are just going about your day you'd usually wear shorts...that's why you'd see people in say an area like South Californian desert wear shorts in their day to day life. Not that much to do with sun actually (which is still a factor but with sunblock it's less of an issue as it was in the past).
Ofcourse this doesn't really say anything about a mechanic prone to getting cuts and stuff wearing shorts. So not justifying it.
Is there any lore at all about why some of these dungeons have pretty hi tech machinery inside, but look old as heck on the outside?
Remnants of a Solhiem empire maybe? I mean, I doubt Pitioss will ever be explained as if it were actually "canon" to the world since it's basically just a giant deathtrap but Costlemark and that one with the floating water are interesting from a lore view.
