It's funny how in the end, Ardyn is only evil because the gods and the Crystal are absolute dicks. And then they have you kill him.
Yes, you saved the world from the plague, but it seems to me that the gods and the Crystal are not exactly benign entities. At least not completely.
Aye, I really found that Shakespeare quote interesting and wanted to see how they'd tie it to the game's themes. With Ardyn and the gods it does somewhat line up, though I do wonder how else they sought to express this moral ambiguity early on.
