I'll never understand why PC players do not like a platform like Sony with a decent amount of exclusive games. It's mind boggling. I love my PC, but no way in hell would I ever skip a PS4 Pro. And the DS4 is my go to controller period and one of the best controllers I have ever held.

As a person who's massively bought into BotW hype, this is very true. But it's coming from both sides.

The two games both often show off a bow wielding protagonist, riding through some open world terrain, fancily taking down robot enemies. Both games have had their respective fans gush about how it well it captures the feeling of Mononoke, or in BotW's case, sometimes just being called Miyazaki-esque. There's a lot of parallels on paper, and that's just enough to incite a fan war.

It's a real shame because I personally expect the two will complement each other well. The narrative is clearly different, and they don't look remotely similar aesthetically. On top of that you can guarantee that whatever gameplay, locations, etc Nintendo has come up with will not feel like what GG is delivering.

Man, I loved reading magazines back then about games that I could never affort. Lots of reviews are not really well written, which is a shame.

I'm expecting mid to high 80s as well. It's a huge open world with a lot of dialogue, collecting materials, and crafting. Some reviewers will likely not be crazy about it and drag down the average.

well you can remove numbers but at least leave the critical aspect of the game components. this review doesn't have any of this, unless you think the "i put down the gamepad to type on my mobile while the game played itself" can cover the gameplay aspect.

Tbf. Zelda has a lot of influence on a lot of games just like Ico or Shadow of the Colossus. Some games or franchises are just trendsetters.
