Why don't you play Nioh? (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
why even buy a ps4 to begin with?
12AM PST/3AM EST

With Sony's involvement in publishing it you may be waiting a long timeI'm praying for a PC release. Fingers crossed.
Yep, got class and work tomorrow. I can't function off little sleep.Oh well, I'll see the reviews in the morning with my coffee. I was thinking Eastern time. I am not staying up until 3 am.

To stay up and read the thread as it goes or to go to sleep and wake up with a bunch of goodness to read through 🤔

Ha yeah that's what I decided on. Much to my surprise I found out I have tomorrow off a few hours ago, so gonna sleep in, make myself a nice breakfast, and read that review threadMaybe the latter's better. You get the goodness (probably plenty of them by the time you get up) on top of the possible meltdown. Enjoy your breakfast! LOL
Bro, does ANYTHING go off of Central time? lol
Only the coasts matter, so everything is based off PST or EST.
Very goodSo are the pre-review indications good? Have to imagine this will get glowing reviews.
Shall I finally take the plunge GAF and get a PS4?Pro
I really wanna play this and so many other games...

No reason for you to hold back. DO IT!!![]()
Do you have any apprehensions about getting the slim version instead? There is a reason actually, I need a new TV.. but my budget is about 1200 bucks,(CND) meaning that's barely enough for a Pro and about the 8 games I would want to buy for it.

Well then maybe you can get some good deals during the year end holiday season. The Pro would probably have discounts by then as well.I've waited this long to buy a PS4, it will be a total shame if I don't buy the best one available, I just wish I had a budget for a good TV, I bought a Samsung 4K 6290 model during Christmas, I was quite disappointed by the picture quality, and decided to return it.
Seems like the only good, and future proof 4K TVs are the 8000K or better, meaning $3000 or more. especially for gaming.

Just in time to see the reviews , lets go!!
Still like 1hr50 min to go.
A new start to dazzling ambition and overflowing generosity, a "post-post-apocalyptic" open-world, a fierce heroine, all combined for a dizzying masterpiece.
The most beautiful open-world of this generation...
It was a bit of a thrill to realize that after more than 20 hours of playing, I continued to discover unexplored places or find new types of objects ... Yes, to the end, I never ceased to be Amazed by the artistic richness, the grandeur of the places, the majesty of the panoramas to the point of being able to take pleasure in simply to traverse it.
What a technological and artistic demonstration, so close to the level of a Naughty Dog title but in total open-world without any loading time once launched in the adventure. Several times I was crushed by the visual and playful generosity of the game. Many times I wondered what superhuman efforts the teams of Guerrilla had to deploy to give birth to such a work so rich, so dense, so beautiful and so refined . Much more profoundly than with the Killzone saga, Guerrilla hoists his name among the very great.
New thread definitelyGameblog coming through with a 9. NICE.
I'm hoping for 85+ Meta.
That last paragraph is some amazing praise. ^
EDIT: Are we gonna mod-abuse the OP or make a new thread for official(ly released) reviews?
We love
A masterful artistic direction.
A mysterious and captivating story.
Aloy, elegant, strong and human.
A sense of magic travel.
Realization and level design breathtaking.
Constant discoveries.
Superb on PS4, lavish on PS4 Pro

I bought it for Bloodborne. While I liked it, I don't believe it was worth the purchase. I wish I would have waited for a price drop and played the games I wanted later.
TLOU 2 day one
