First Look at Inhumass from new TV Series

Not that Buck is some kind of creative genius or anything, but he's just the fall guy here. This is really Perlmutter's doing.

Scott Buck: "...we approach these all as real people who just happen to have these abilities, so they’re all very grounded people."

This is the exact opposite of how one should handle the Inhumans, they are pure melodrama and some of the least grounded characters around.

God damn fuck me two sides. They half assed Iron Fist, and they completely blow it with Inhumans. Trashing two of my favorite comic properties...!

Showrunners. If you get a good one, you're golden. If you don't.. you'll get missteps like Iron Fist. You could tell there was time/budget issues with Iron Fist (lack of prep time/no rehearsal time for fights etc.). Yet the Defenders looks great. The truth is Marvel TV is still controlled by Isaac Perlmutter and anything that's successful under him to me.. is a miracle.

This is Scott Buck again??? I completely missed that.

So he did the Worst seasons of Dexter. I think he could have done so much better with Iron First, which took a pretty great cast and missused them. Danny is more interesting in the Defenders trailer than he is in most of his own series.

There never was any X-Men replacing. They have more books, toys, and games in circulation than the Inhumans ever will.

True but the movie was gonna be the X-Men of the MCU and Ike was giving them the Roman push and telling Feige, you get the Cap Marvel movie but I get my Inhumans movie. Then Feige took Marvel Studios and gave Inhumans the BYE FELICIA

Hollywood hates masks, but loves superheroes...

At least Marvel and Batman, they will wear the masks when needed.

Scott Buck thinks Masks hide the feelings.

Because Perlmutter doesn't determine if the show is good or bad :p

I'm not only blaming Scott Buck here, I'm also blaming Ike Perlmutter, Jebp Loeb and a bunch of unnamed Marvel employees who went "hell yeah. This is a mighty fine idea!"

I didnt say I didnt like it!

I like agents of shield but im not gonna put it over DD season 1
I agree with this.

Seriously, they're freaking royals. Since when is royalty supposed to be grounded

Can't wait till Marvel realizes it's TV shows should be short lived runs like Agent Carter or only on Netflix.

Short runs allow more MCU intricacies without long term commitment and Netflix allows flexibility and compact to the point seasons.

And even Iron Fist showed us some hard lessons that Premium TV cannot be rushed

If they werent confident that they could do Iron Fist Justice they should have just introduced him in Defenders before giving him his own series run

Instead some moron though throwing bargain bin Scott Buck to do it in a damn short timeline on a small budget for 13 episodes was a good idea

Did they learn nothing from the critics of Daredevil, Luke cage, and JJ runs?

Great shows but plenty of takeaway lessons there for improvement

going to be hilarious if Agents of SHIELD turns out to be the MCU's best take on the Inhumans.

If Black Bolt had his mask he would be kinda perfect. But the others... especially that Medusa. How does stuff like this even make it this far looking so bad?

They were contractually obligated to make that Iron Fist show. And they were tight on time, so they probably went with Scott Buck who could do it in such a short amount of time.

oh it will be. once this has aired Perlmutters Inhumans push will be dead and we can focus on Real Heroes like Kamala Khan

"Powers are grounded" in a show with a fucking giant bulldog with antenna on it's forehead with the ability to teleport.

It's about family though!

Family!

Isn't that exciting? Doesn't that make you want to watch?

We got Black Panther now. We are in better times!

I suppose we've also got Spiderman!

Poor Medusa, though. Think of what they could have done with her on film, as previously intended.

Renegotiate the contract?

Where is that Disney Money? Is Netflix that hard to work with?
