In that the source material was at one point slated to be adapted into a film, yes. Not in that it's pulling anything creatively from the scrapped film script/treatment, as far as I know.

And I do think this could have made a great film and Feige shouldn't have handed it off to the TV side, but that ship has sailed.

Beyond my hope to see her in the films I don't trust these people, not just for her character but her powers are the type that typically are hard to pull off in live action even when the people making it care, don't even want to think of what that shitshow would look considering this look is all they could come up with for a budget that includes IMAX money.

Yep. I wouldn't say the other costuming is good, but Medusa looks... tragic.

That said, I think we should have determined that EW photoshoots are some of the worst shots for superhero/geek-related stuff, so we'll see what it looks like in the actual show.
