I'm indifferent to it. I really like the design on the armor and the spear (well, it's not a trident, so what do you call a five pointed spear? A quindent?), but the muted colors of the picture are turning me off. I am digging the white stripes in the hair though.

I think the muted colors is what's killing me on it, maybe even on some level I was hoping for some orange and maybe blonde or bright brown hair. I'm probably asking for too much. Still I'm glad he got the role and fwiw my little blurb from another thread on how the Aquaman film should be.

James Cameron should direct an Aquaman movie for the ultimate lulz.
It's called not trusting the source material. Instead of making the character's original design(s) work, they just reinvent the wheel into something "badass." It's similar to how the X-Men all ended up in black leather jackets in their films.
