You know he WANTED that role?Paul Giamatti might have been the worst part of that movie.
Fantastic villain designs
Fantastic villain designs
The two villains I heard tossed around most often for SM4 were The Lizard and Vulture. Was Lizard one of the villains that Raimi wanted to do?
dam this is horrible lol.
Was Lizard one of the villains that Raimi wanted to do?
They better be at budgets of $230 million and $200-293 million a piece.
This again describes something more like Transformers 5 or Suicide Squad, I just don't get how they could be considered "trash of the highest degree." And I'm not even trying to defend them. Even if I didn't like them I would still think some of these comments are outrageous.
THROW THE DAMN TOWEL!I didn't know that they started shooting Bronson's biography already.
Fuck I remember waiting so long to deliver on that, too.Raimi had allegedly wanted to use Lizard since Spider-Man 2.
Raimi had allegedly wanted to use Lizard since Spider-Man 2.
Dam Spiderman 4 was going to happen? How come it didn't?A part of me is sad that this reality will never see Raimi's Spider-Man 4 come to fruition
That movie sounded like it was going to be something
PS2 money putting in work
Today, I will remind them
https://youtu.be/MLCfIGPY6i8
And then there's the whole thing of Uncle Ben dying because Peter was buying chocolate milk
And then his British voice slips in when he's crying for help
And then there's a montage when he's looking at dude's wrists
Like, why man
But I'd still probably place both ahead of Seppuku Squad, because the action at least looks real nice
THROW THE DAMN TOWEL!
That makes sense, they basically took the Lizard's character and gave him metal tentacles
Fuck I remember waiting so long to deliver on that, too.
Connors was dangled in front of us for so long.

Is there more?Concept art was released not that long ago

From what I recall, the script never really came together and Sony didn't have a whole lot of confidence in the project (they announced Amazing Spider-Man the day after SM4 was canned).Dam Spiderman 4 was going to happen? How come it didn't?
Spiderman 2 is the worst in the original trilogy
1 > 3 > 2

Is there more?
It's like the last page of Wanted but if Eminem's mom was a monitor lizard.
What has this thread become
Raimi said that Vultress stuff was bullshit, Hathaway was gonna play Black Cat.Sony had locked down a release date that Raimi didn't feel comfortable trying to hit, so they both called it off
There were some hilarious plot details floating around a while back, but I can't find them.
All I remember is Malkovich as Vulture, Anne Hathaway as Vultress (yes, really), and Peter would have a son.
Explains why Black Cat was in the Spider-Man 2 video game so muchFor Lizard? No.
But Black Cat concept art exists for SM2
ech, I don't want to see the lizard in MCU. it would just look unpleasing unless they went for the crocodile head look
Explains why Black Cat was in the Spider-Man 2 video game so much
Not like this they aren't, Black Cat was weirdly in the game a lot and tied into the story and themes of Spider-Man 2. It wasnt like Shocker in the first game who showed up a couple of times just to be someone to fight. I would think Treyarch was influenced by some of this early stuff since they had to have worked with some of the film production to get the game released on time to coincide with the movie. No it doesn't.
She was in the game because Spider-Man movie games always add a ton of characters with nothing to do with the movies.
After writing Trouble, that something sure a lot of nothing.Mark Millar sure is something
Hot take: comic book movies probably should've fallen out of vogue in favor of something else by now, but studios are so risk-averse these days that the hot new thing hasn't arrived on schedule.

HA
HA
IS THAT HOW HE SERIOUSLY LOOKED IN ASM 2
Before the accident, yep.
The scene with his electrocution and electric eel bites has a shot of his teeth getting forcibly re-aligned. Because that's what electrocution and electric eel bites do.
Also, one of those eels jumps into his body via mouth entry, apparently.
As for the hair, guess all that got burned off.

Shocker and Vulture's appearance's in the first game are largely irrelevant to the main story, as are Mysterio and Rhino in the sequel. Black Cat was tied to Peter's growing divide between his normal life and hero life and how he was losing grips with both.Yeah. Exactly like that. Honestly, I doubt it had much to do with whatever was going on with the movie. They tend to just throw some of his best rogues in the movie tie-ins.
I always go in with very low expectation when it comes to comic book movies and that way never get disappointed lol

Like take for example their final scene: https://youtu.be/YWGUuGaV1uM
Anyway, this isn't really the place to talk about this. So agree to disagree.
