Thats exactly the vibe I get. Some early 2000s shit on Nickelodeon.
Has there ever been a good videogame adaptation?

Again I was foolishly hoping for a narrative that would be better than a hodgepodge of the 2013 and Rise narratives but hey lets base our story off a video game. Theyre known for good stories, right?

I really liked the first Silent Hill movie *shrug*Has there ever been a good videogame adaptation?

Looks fun. I have no idea what you guys were expecting here.
Yes.

Looks better than those clips. But I don't know if this is something I'll go see in theaters. I'll either wait until it's on Blu Ray or when it's streaming on Netflix or something.
Even for all its faults, all they had to do was make a watered down, coherent and concise version of the Squenix reboot.
That's way more preferable than this thing that made me double take at my calendar to check if it was still 2003.
That's not what that was. Maybe I seen a different trailer.
Um
duh?
Is Walter Goggins the only person that embraces their fucked up hair line?
You mean you wish you looked that good 28 years ago?
Doesn't look terrible. Excited for another female-led action movie, either way.
(But really, "If you're listening to this, I'm already dead?" Really?)
If I make it, you can add me to that list.
You can't be too careful. I have recorded five of these for my eight year old daughter along with the accompanying mysteries.:
Tape 1: If you're watching this I'm already dead. you have to find the remote. I checked the seat cushions.
Tape 2: If you're watching this I'm already dead. I don't know why your mom is such a bitch all the time
Tape 3: If you're watching this I'm already dead. you must solve the mystery of your missing college fund. Hint - it was my Miata.
You get the idea
I honestly wonder what would have left some of you impressed. It looks like Tomb Raider. Lara being badass, solving puzzles, dual wielding pistols, exploring, encountering the supernatural. What more could they have?
It looked generic (Oh god, other people are using this word, is it gonna be a buzzword in this thread...) as fuck. Really, the only hook I got from this trailer is that I recognize who Lara Croft, so hey, maybe come check out this movie sometime. Otherwise, nothing really motivates me to come out and see it. I'm not even that familiar with Tomb Raider like that other than the basic premise, nor have I played the reboots.
Just looking at the trailer itself... It was just meh.
