I stopped taking BA awhile back because even after stopping the supplement - my Paraesthesia (the tingling) just would not stop. It was pretty annoying. I've read horror stories on the bb.com forums where people have had it for years after discontinuing.

Luckily mine went away after a year without the need for doctor's intervention.

Otherwise I just ordered some citrulline malate to compliment protein and other vitamins. Still avoiding creatine due to the DHT concerns.

Oh wow. I have never heard of that before. That is very scary =/

So today I wanted to try going to the gym in the morning just to see how I liked it. It's a whole new group of people, and there was one guy that was just grunting like crazy. I normally don't mind grunts, but this guy took it too far. It made me uncomfortable. It was a mixture of shouting, counting, grunting, moaning, self-coaching, and orgasms. He was basically re-enacting gay porn. Really bizarre.

Starting up my gym visits next week. Waited for the NYE people to slowly vanish. Starting my old baseball routine first. Will run for a couple weeks since my endurance has gone to shit over the last couple years.

Then will hit the weights by Feb. Not sure if I want to do weights every other day or every day. My main focus is full body. Thinking of doing core exercises every other day and then focus on legs, arms, etc. in between. Recommendations?

If by core exercises you mean the big compound lifts, then don't do that. Lifting every day and going overboard on accessory exercises is a sure way to fatigue and shortchange yourself. If you mean core in terms of abdominals and surrounding musculature, then don't do that either. If you fatigue your core a day before lifting again you greatly increase your risk of injury and once again shortchange yourself greatly in any compound lifts you'd be performing.

Lifting 3 or 4x a week, following a proven routine with plenty of compounds will certainly cover your whole body. If you have specific goals in mind by all means some subtle tailoring of any preset routine is required. Just don't go and throw the baby out with the bathwater whilst trying to reinvent the wheel that isn't broken and doesn't need fixing.

Plenty of people. There's NeoGAF group listed in OP.

It's probably my favorite workout tool. Between than and Myfitnsspal the OCD in me gets fed and keeps me on track, making the whole thing one big MMO.

Woke up way too early today. Given my schedule for 5/3/1 now (3 day a week) I'm not supposed to workout today, but I'm debating just moving back to my damn 4 day schedule. Thought 3day would make recover easier while cutting, but just leaves me anxious to lift.

It's that or more Skyrim I suppose.

No cardio on the cut?

No cardio on the cut?

Wendler recommends 30-40 minutes of walking a day while on the Bodybuilding program, and since I bartend/wait tables and already get far more conditioning than 40 minutes a day through that, I'm not currently adding in any additional cardio.

I'm very much taking a "less-is-more" philosophy at the moment. We'll see how it works out.

Interesting. I'll probably check that out after 2 cycles of my current program.

After a slight hiatus from the gym, I plan to start going again during my break hours at my university. I have obtained a gym bag and a gym locker, however I am searching for a decent iPhone 5 armband. Can anyone recommend a good and affordable armband for the iPhone 5?

I will look into it but as much as I want to lose the weight, I want to do it the healthy way and by exercising.

Be it losing 1lbs or 10lbs.
Diet is the #1 way to lose weight. Exercise is just another layer on top of that. If you want to drop weight fast, decrease calories to 1300 or so. Your body will automatically gravitate towards healthful food since you are eating so little. Just make sure you are getting enough vitamins, potassium, fiber, and protein.

Don't exercise too hard or you'll just end up finding a way to rationalize eating more, as you will be more hungry.

That's quite low.

Anyways in my opinion it's better to exercise a little more even if you have to eat a little more as well. Either way your diet comes down to will power, and sitting around eating nothing is just not healthy.

It's not unhealthy at all if you are eating nutritiously*. If you are trying to drop weight fast, cutting calories is how you do it. This is not rocket science.

*assuming the person is overweight, as it would be unhealthy if you are underweight.

I've done 1100-1300 before while lifting for diet purposes. Obviously you need straight protein and supplements for energy. Otherwise you will be dead ass tired and unable to pump. Specifically on consecutive days.

It also helped having amphetamines too, but those have been pretty hit-or-miss for me lately. Sometimes they give a good boost. While other times I don't necessarily feel anything.

I miss Jack3d. Had to stop though bc I had a weird heart scare. Still looking for a decent safre replacement, coffee doesn't do it for me.

This is what I have every day, 1200 calories in weight gainer shake + 6 meals + snacks(almonds, fruit and peanut butter sandwich) and its still hard for me to gain weight. Dat dere metabolism

Die in a fire.

If I look the wrong way at a cookie, my waist size increases an inch. That's with running 3 miles a day 6 days a week too.

You can always try and manipulate your doctor into giving you aderall (or other alternatives).

When I started taking concerta - my heart was practically beating out of my chest. But after a week or so I tolerated it much better and haven't had any issues with amphetamines since. *knock on wood*

I hate the grunters. Makes you look like a tool.

Also the hat wearers. Really...?

How about dip? Asked my doc about it, and as long as it isn't abused, there aren't any health risks. Not even cancer.

Those pictures were in September.

I actually weigh about 6-7lbs heavier than that now. I was in a terrible accident and my arm was in a split 24/7 for 6 weeks. Couldn't do anything but leg workouts for 2 months.

Damn son. Looking pretty cut. What's your cardio like?

Zero. Believe it or not I was bulking in those pictures. I haven't even attempted a cut yet. I will in May though.

I lost all my pictures on my phone, but the picture I want is on facebook. Its from a couple of weeks ago, where I look a bit more swole. How do I post it here?

Squats felt ridiculously heavy today, but I still barely managed my sets, was upset with how weak I felt.

While unloading the bar it turned out I had 5 more kilos than what I should've added (130kg instead of 125), what a brain fart! Had a mixed feeling of embarrassment and joy.

What I should do next session? Go down or up?

What routine do you use?

If you have the same meals every day, then it shouldn't be hard to log them.

Put it in. Whatever you're consuming isn't enough for a caloric surplus, so you'll have to increase if your goal is to increase your weight.

I dont need to know the specifics. I might start upping my weight gainer to 1500 calories a day. 6 meals a day + snacks is hard enough as it is to eat every day.

You sure? Knowing how much you're eating will go a long way in helping you have an effective bulk or cut.

Mon: Back
Tue: Chest
Wed: Off day
Thur: Legs
Fri: Shoulders
Sat: Off day
Sun: Off day(but I have football, so I guess that's my cardio.)

Concentrate on compounds movements as priority.

KK, was more curious about rep ranges- Is it hypertrophy/BB style stuff?

I need shoes for all around lifting. Anything on the cheap that doesn't look too hideous?
Thanks.

Barefoot! Chucks are generally the other low cost option.

I do that much more often that I'd care to admit, I generally treat those days like a normal day and do the correctly calculated weight the next workout (i.e if it was 125 -> 130 from workout 1 to 2 and you did 130 instead just do 130 -> 130).
