FL Gov Debate: Republican Rick Scott refuses to debate for 7 minutes because of a Fan

It has to an extent, he would still be considered a centrist Democrat.

Considering Florida is a moderate state, I think Crist has swung far more to the left than a lot of people would have figured prior to the election starting.

He even continues to praise Obamacare, which most democrats are avoiding at all costs.

That's a good point, It's actually a bold move, especially for him.

Honestly, Crist did a really crappy job in that debate. I don't live in Florida so I don't really know anything about them, but based on that debate Scott looks far more appealing.

Scott, like the northern half of my state, remains a joke

FLORIDA residents, please vote Rick Scott out, Please, please show up and vote. Its going to be close, so every vote will matter.

please believe, i'm there with bells on - dude's civil service cuts hit hard, and hey, medical marijuana's on the ballot too

gonna be an amazing day if we somehow go 2-0

He seemed to be pretty good about wanting to work with Obama, even as a Republican. The original Christie, sort of.

And that sunk his Senate campaign.

Or apply for a mail in ballot. I know how *some* of you will be too lazy to go out and vote.

I actually just got my ballot today in the mail. I'm doing my part. Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metro area represent.

I don't need a politician I agree with 100% of the time, or even 70%. Just one that isn't Rick Scott.

dude used to be mayor of Florida. He knows how it gets hot down there.

Ugh, even both candidates are terrible choices I really hope Rick Scott AKA "Lord Voldemort" gets kicked the fuck out office. That man has done jack shit for our state and he's Voldemort in disguise.

Already got my absentee ballot.

There's no way that alien looking mother fucker's gonna stay, especially after that Sunrail nonsense.

He really has taken a huge swing on some issues. He admitted that he stood against gay marriage while running before in order to secure the office. He's supporting it now, which is a massive change of opinion, but it aligns with his political backers. If he personally supports it or not, I could give half a shit. I only care that he'll make good on what he's saying now and push it through because he's promised to do so.
Aka politics. Voters have forced changed. Ive never understood this argument against flip floppers. Dont we always want people we disagree with to change their mind?

This is a good article in case anyone needs a refresher as to why they shouldn't vote for the crook currently in office.
This is a horrible article and going by the authors twitter im not surprised. Its cynicism to the max becau see because not everybody is a "principled leftist" it also mischaracterizes a lot And ptojects far to much on regular democrats and why they support him. (He dismissively rejects support for choice and civil rights calling them opportunitsm). And seems to somehow think a progressive florida statewide candidate can when when half the state is dixie.

What's the difference?

Dunno if that sounds silly to ask, but I ask it because there's only one word in my language for both of them.
Just because something runs on power doesn't make it an electronic device. Would you consider a lamp electronic?

Was I the only one who thought it was going to be some guy that watched politics like sports? Like a fan of politics?

"WOOOOOOO! GO CRIST, YOU GOT THIS MANNNN! YEEEEAAAAAHHHH!"

Nope. The capital "F" in fan made me think the same thing. I was like "what the fuck" until I actually saw the video.

Any teacher that votes for rick Scott must be doing so out of some of Stockholm syndrome effect.

That motherfucker denied the cross state fast rail! That was guaranteed jobs and cheaper mode of transportation across the state! What the fuuuuuuuuuuuck

The moderator is just a talking head. The rules are set out in advance by the parties.
Rules which, as stated by the "talking head," included "no fans."

Just because something runs on power doesn't make it an electronic device. Would you consider a lamp electronic?
I think given his question and that there's only one word in his language for both of them that yes, he would consider a lamp electronic.

This shit right here is what cemented me voting him out at any costs. The stupid things go nowhere and fuck up traffic right around my house without fail.
