Hmm I can't see it. We've sold Gibson and I can't see us losing Berbatov aswell. That'd be 2 squad players down and we're already thin as it is.

Only way I see Berbatov leaving is if there's a really really good offer for him on the table.

He's better off leaving though IMO. He needs to be playing.

God I hope not Macheda is poor.

Only way I see it happening is if we've got a deal for a replacement in place.

we could be cutting down the wages for a big transfer. although it doesn't seem likely.

last year contract think he'd go for around 10-15m, wasn't he linked with Bayern Munich?

What would you say would be a fair price for Berba?

£12-15m?

About £10m I think is fair.

Something like £12m-£15m would be really good business for us.

Don't think so, our wage bill isn't a problem really. And we won't break our existing wage structure for a new signing I don't think.

I had £10m when I originally wrote that post but changed it to £12-15m as he has had his contract extended didn't he? Might up his value a tad.

£15m is probably a bit much but I could see us getting in the region of £12 for him, if he went somewhere where he'd be the main man he'd flourish.

Cheering for Inter against Milan is like having an incestuous relationship. You know it's WRONG, but you're just that desperate..

Finally able to jump into the Sporting -Braga game. Nice to see Rodriguez back. Also can't wait to see what Seba can do for us

Full disclosure: I'm just watching this terrible game because my girlfriend is here :/ My hands are tied* :/

*not literally, but maybe later :P ?

I'm in 2 minds about Berba leaving. I'd hate him to leave because he's such a good player. But part of me thinks that he should go to a team that will start him every game.

If SAF does let him go then I wish him all the best and I hope he does well at his new club. It does leave us a bit short on strikers though.

Edit: I forgot to say that I don't think Berba will be sold in the January transfer window.

milan-inter is a great game, this is why i love football. i feel like i am going to have a heart attack, the tension is insane.

we are owning inturd, just need to put the ball in the back of the net. urby is playing surprisingly well, our only weak link right now is zambro who needs to retire.

Berba out, Demba Ba in? he'd only cost around £7m if Redknapp was tellin the truth.

^always knew you supported Inter ;)

What did I do :lol

Don't know what to say about that half as I missed a third of it but we had a solid 15 minutes of attacking that got nowhere. Quim had a very nice save against Matias' freekick but that was it. I think we should get Carrillo in either at the break or before the 60 minute mark

I can hear Yurt opening that champaigne bottle from here

Can you hear my penis crying too?

Her face is red, and I'm about to burst out laughing so my face is all red as well

Chelsea don't have the manager, support or character to win a knockout competition like the Champions League. I didn't say players because we won it with Djimi Traore.

Surely you need more 'character' to win something like.. I don't know... the league? :P

So.. Newcastle not buying players? Ashley not letting Pardew spend money? Can the owner of a club be forced to sell if the board of directors aren't happy with him?

Braga had 2 great chances in the first 5 min, Quim had a great save from a Matias header.
Ribas is showing some interesting runs, just the mere fact that he runs shows that he is a better choice than Bojinov.
Insua isn´t really working as a midfielder, Evaldo needs to go so Insua can play as left back, Capel goes back to the left wing and Carrillo or Jeffren to the right side.

Well we need a defender and, if we're feeling goodygumdrops then a striker and a central midfielder. The defender is the priority though.

But yes, it's January which means shit moves ever so slow cos of what point we're at in the season and clubs wanting to be proper stingy.

That what I was thinking. The left side was just meh for what I saw. Evaldo makes great runs but so does Insua when he plays a Winger. But Insua in the actual midfield just seems like something I'd do if I really had to.

Betis is playing like fucking gods. Pepe Mel is one of my favourite coaches ever, he is loyal to his styale whoever he plays against to. And they wanted to kick him out.
